  • Description

    Andrew:
Growing up on a small farm in Western Pennsylvania I couldn't help but fall in love with the outdoors, animals, and adventure. From a young age my Mother worked hard to also introduce my siblings and me to different parts of the country, and later the world. I love to meet new people and to try different work experiences. I have done work exchange on a popular Organic Farm in Illinois and Pennsylvania. I have also worked seasonally in Montana as a driver and on a Working Guest Ranch. I would love the opportunity to travel to some new locations and offer my various skills to help others manifest their dreams, while continuing to build my skills and ideas for my own future. I am a certified Rescue Diver with a deep desire to pursue my Dive Master and onward. In recent months I have had a reinvigorated interest in Mindfulness and Meditation and would love to pursue some paths in locations building communities that also support these ideas. However, I am open to all ideas and lifestyles.

    Natalie:
I am an individual wanting to enjoy new amazing experiences and I am eager to volunteer my services and travel! Traveling opens portals in people’s lives and transforms each individual. People learn about themselves, gain confidence, learn independence, and so much more. A memory that comes to me is singing karaoke in Tennessee. I did such a bad job. My friend sent me the video of me singing and I have yet to watch it. I doubt I ever will. However, I had so much fun! Opening myself up like that, doing something out of my comfort zone, it transforms a person.
I have been to a lot of states throughout the US, however, I haven’t traveled much out of the US. Currently, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is the only place that I have needed a passport for. Traveling abroad seems so intriguing to me. I would love to learn about different cultures and new languages and other lifestyles.
I am currently a certified yoga instructor and have experience teaching classes. Teaching yoga or other athletic skills is important and enjoyable to me. When demonstrating active skills, it translates into a healthy lifestyle, which I think is beneficial to everyone. Other than recreational activities, I love teaching. Growing up, I was surrounded and submerged in classrooms or schools. Teaching skills are as great as being taught skills. While traveling, I would love to learn a new language, how to garden and cook, and how to become the best version of myself.

  • Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Andrew: While my early career ventures gravitated towards agriculture, I have since been gaining experience and interest in Hospitality and Service as well. I have done Work Trade for Angelic Organics, started a CSA project with a partner in Pennsylvania, and also built and maintained Nutrient Flow Tables for a hydroponic greenhouse that grew basil and other greens. These positions have left me with a love for hands on, hard work such as weeding, planting, harvesting, basic carpentry and other physical tasks! Working for a Guest Ranch, A family AirBNB in a Ntl Park, and as a bartender at a Taphouse have helped me build my repertoire in everything from Customer Service to House Keeping. I love to problem solve, get my hands dirty, and to learn as much as I possibly can. Through workaway experiences I have learned more about Composting, Construction, renovation, Basic plumbing, masonry, and tiling. I have worked with Coral treatment and natural pest treatment and many other adaptive tasks. I really enjoy cooking and discovering foods from around the world. Fermentation in the form of Kombucha brewing, sour dough bread making, lacto fermentation of vegetables, and nut cheese fascinates me. Light mechanic work on both cars and motorcycles is a skill I am constantly trying to to expand on. I love repairing, rebuilding and replacing basic components on vehicles to achieve a safe and reliable result.
