Description
Good morning Host, we are Matteo and Emanuela, we are an enterprising couple, lovers of nature and animals. We are good with DIY, we are good at cooking, we like gardening, construction work and outdoor activities. We know English well, we learned Spanish and Portuguese during the trip, we would like to learn these languages better and learn new ones. Emanuela did many years as a tutor to high school students so she acquired teaching skills in many subjects, particularly in art history (in which she graduated). Matteo is very practical in manual work, in the work of strength, great artistic ability and is good in drawing. We have traveled through the United States, Canada, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, doing all kinds of workaway and now we are in South-east Asia. We look forward to meeting new people and venturing into new experiences!

I’m Matteo, I’m an enterprising guy, always available to help, sporty and nature lover. I like outdoor activities, running, mountain walks and adrenaline activities. I am a big fan of sailing. I did for many years Scout creating in me a great spirit of adaptation and collaboration. I like DIY, gardening, woodworking, making things. I’m good at cooking and I’m always willing to try new activities.
I'm Emanuela, a smiling, sensitive, empathetic and charismatic girl. I really like animals, I like to travel, I like to read and meet new people. I graduated in art history so I like art in all its forms.

We like to do gymnastics, read, we are lovers of photography and art, we know sailing and drive motor boats. Emanuela has been an au pair in the United States. Matteo knows how to use the drone and is a lover of photography; he is specializing in the field. He has created artistic murals and he really likes to draw.

We spent over two weeks helping out with gardening and some light maintenance around the house. It was a great opportunity to live in the jungle, surrounded by nature and an incredible amount of monkeys wandering freely around the garden, we were amazed!

Staying in Taibara was an unforgettable experience for us. We spent time immersed in nature, contributing to the construction work, cooking and cleaning the rooms. Our experience at the Farm was fantastic! Louise and Andrew are a lovely couple which treat us kindly and warmly.
The work consisted pretty much in weeding, we cleaned all the Christmas trees and made them looking nice to be ready for the Christmas’s season! After the work you can jump into their nice and refreshing swimming pool.

We spent at Kathleen’s 2 weeks working on the garden removing weeds, taking fresh vegetables and playing with dogs!! Lovely dogs. The place is beautiful, not far from the city and with the tranquility of the countryside. Kathleen was helpful and guided us to several places.

Matteo and Emanuela were both so sweet and awesome volunteers. They were kind and courteous as house guests, and they were attentive and communicative as volunteers. I trusted them both and it is clear they have a really good work ethic. Definitely recommend them to any other hosts. I was grateful they chose to stay with me for a bit!

We had a great time at Joe’s house in New Orleans!! We shared the house with other workawayers, got to know the local culture and spent the wonderful time listening to music in this city full of musicians and artists!! We couldn’t have had a better first experience with Workaway! Highly Recommended
