Hi hosts!
Currently travelling in Ireland, a carpenter and engineer by trade.
We love the outdoors and exploring new places. Hiking, camping, cycling, horseback riding, caving and the peaceful life.
We are always looking forward to new adventures!
We are most interested in construction, building, gardening, diy, maintenance projects in rural areas.

We have spent the past few years working on carpentry projects for multiple workaway hosts in Mexico, Central America and South America. We have designed and built from raw materials;

- kitchen cabinets and countertops
- kitchen storage crates
- side tables
- window frames
- window casing
- window screens
- closet/wardrobe
- lighting fixtures
- shelving units
- towel racks
- toilet paper dispensers
- benches
- saw horses

Andrew is a trained carpenter. He has 15 years construction experience in multiple applications of the trade. Other experiences include horse care and farming, and food preparation and service. He speaks fluently in English and Spanish.
Michelle is a trained mechanical engineer and technical draftsperson in the building services industry.
Other experiences include retail and coffee/food preparation and service. She speaks fluently in English and has basic Spanish.
We are hardworking, resourceful and reliable. We can design, build, and decorate. We can care for animals.

We stayed at the ecolodge for three months and it was an absolute pleasure.
The location is great, on the shores of the lake and only a short drive from Bacalar town. There is a lot of wildlife to see. The lake is very beautiful and peaceful, we swam there every day.

The location was beautiful and peaceful with amazing views of the canyon. The thermal baths down at the river were a fantastic place to relax.
The location is quite remote, if you are not hiking in there is only one bus from Cabanaconde each day which leaves early in the morning.

Had a fantastic time staying at the farm. It is a very welcoming atmosphere, Pauline could not have been more caring and generous. A lot of fun and very enjoyable few weeks with everyone there :)

Spent 2 weeks sailing around Lake Izabal with Daeli, Vic and Deisel. A really unique and fun experience I would definately recommend.

Michelle and Andrew were with us for 6 weeks. They worked in our carpentry, built some sun beds. helped in our bar where necessary. We wish you the best in your trip and we would gladly accept it in our facilities again. We'll miss you. PD: When you return you will be waiting for a bag of oranges to extract juice, hahaha.
