Hello everybody, I am Tahifé
My registration must seem enigmatic at my age. Normal, I am enigmatic... Joking aside.
I know well that my profile and my age do not necessarily fit into the preferred criteria of Workaway hosts.
But, I am used to saying that every limit can be converted into opportunities, that every glass ceiling exists to be transcended.

I also have the habit of saying that people over 40 are bridges between the old and the new. We use the old (its limits and excesses) to rethink the new or the future.
So what are the advantages of "adopting” those over 40?
Traveling via Workaway offers to youth an opportunity. It's not just about the financial aspect, although for young people this is an important factor; it's also about life experience.
In the proximity of more mature individuals, you as hosts, enable them to live in the present moment, but also to plan for the future, to envision themselves later.
Society is changing, and the message being sent is this:
volunteering experiences while mixing travel and meetings abroad also attract people over 40 years old who also wish to take risks away from home, continue to discover, learn, and step outside their comfort zone.
My vitality comes precisely from this ability to reinvent myself each time, to push back against limiting frameworks and offer the world a broader vision of differences, whatever they may be—age, culture, approach. However, I clearly fall OUTSIDE THE FRAMEWORK of your usual volunteers. This message has significance that will resonate with them later on as well.
My only goals : to challenge myself, To discover, to never stop learning, share and and pass on my knowledge.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have good reception and receptionist skills. I worked in several hotels as a seasonal worker.
it’s a job that I really appreciate, the contact with clients. Moreover, I have very good organisational skills.
I took care of the check-ins, checkout and reservations by email and phone. I sometimes helped with the preparation of the rooms, informed the clients about the places to visit. I like to coordinate, certainly professional distortion after being an assistant. But the reception is what allows me to share my bright and welcoming personality.

Loving nature a lot and being creative, I know how to be attentive to everything about animals (I have 3 cats) and plants even if it’s a hobby.
