Hi everyone! My name is Maxime, and I am a young Frenchman nearing 30! This year, 2024, I decided to leave the country where I live to discover this part of the world. My goal is to explore Japan from north to south, from Cape Soya in Hokkaido to Cape Sata in Kyushu. I want to discover the country and its people at my own pace, and that's why volunteering seems to be a perfect way to get to know the culture and the inhabitants in a different way while doing something useful for others.
About Me
I am someone who loves discovering new things. I enjoy engaging in conversations with others just as much as I love learning and sharing knowledge.
In France, I work as a psychologist in a hospital. I’m always happy to talk about this field of study dedicated to the human being and their mind.
I enjoy communal living and cherish moments spent together, whether it’s over a drink, a game, a conversation, or through building furniture, painting a wall, or cooking a meal. Mutual respect and communication are essential values to me.
Among my passions, the mountains hold a special place. I love hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. I’m also very passionate about climbing and even brought my climbing shoes with me, hoping to find people to climb with, either indoors or outdoors.
I also greatly enjoy painting, writing, ceramics, and sculpture. I need to create with my hands, which is why I also packed some watercolor supplies for my journey.

My name is Maxime and I am 29 years old. I am French and I work as a neuropsychologist. My passions are mainly mountain sports. I love hiking and climbing. I also practice judo and jujitsu. I am curious and enjoy discovering new things, having new experiences, and learning about other people's lives. I love sharing and learning.
