Hi there fellow adventure seekers!
For as long as I can remember my biggest dream in life has been to travel. To me traveling is the best way to grow as a human being. The more people you meet and the more adventures you have while traveling both help to create a well rounded, down to earth human.
It is so important to me to be able to experience all this world has to offer and I want to start that journey with Workaway.
I graduated from Appalachian State University in May of 2020 with a degree in Middle grades education. I have spent the past year teaching 6th grade science. This experience has taught me that I enjoy creating connections with people but the classroom is not the place for me right now.
I care deeply about other people, animals, and the earth. I am a vegan, of about 4 years. I would love to be able to learn how to be more sustainable on a day to day basis, how to grow, harvest, and cook fresh vegetables and fruit, how to take care of animals and the nature around me and overall be a better steward of the Earth.
I am so excited to meet new people, explore new places, take care of the people and Earth around me, and make the best memories.

I have loved and been interested in French language, culture, art, etc for as long as I can remember. I took French from middle school all the way into college and I am, unfortunately, still not fluent. So if I could be immersed in the language and learn that while experiencing workaway, that would be a dream. I have a degree in education, and I am fluent in the english language. I would love to be able to teach english to anyone interested. I am also open to learning any other language. It would be amazing to one day be a polyglot!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Over the years I have come to find that I am a pretty great people person. I am great at being there for people, and caring for my fellow human. I love connecting with new people and learning from them. I have been a teacher for a year and above all else the relationships I created with my students were the best part of my job. I created a safe space where my students felt they could talk to me about what was troubling them, or about things that were exciting them.
I am also really good at learning. I pick up on things pretty quickly and love learning new skills, new ideas, and new hobbies. Id like to think that I am a creative person as well.
So far in my life I have played many instruments, tried many sports, held many different types of jobs, and attempted many hobbies.
I am a hard worker and when I put my mind to something I will find a way to get it done no matter how difficult the task.
I am a very determined, hardworking, and reliable person. I will take everything that is thrown at me with grace and excitement for the new experience.

I lOVE board and card games. Sadly, not a single person in my family will play them with me, so I have been deprived of that excitement.
I love playing the Ukulele and I plan on learning how to play the guitar.
I love theater and musicals. Some of my favorites are Into the Woods, Sweeney Todd, and of course Phantom of the Opera.
I also really love movies, specifically horror movies. A lot of them are awful but that kind of makes them even better. My top three horror movies are: Creep, The Terrifier, and The Shining.
I have a cat named Meeko, that I want to bring with me on my adventures. He is a sweet, sassy little angel baby, who loves the outdoors and adventure just as much as me.
