Hello! I’m Selma from Germany, I just finished my bachelor’s degree with an exchange semester in New Zealand, and I’m excited to get to know Australia while I’m already in this corner of the world :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

During uni, I had my friend group over for dinner once a week, which means I’m very used to hosting and cooking for a group of people, organising meet-ups, doing a lot of dishes, etc.
I like languages - though I’m very shy speaking in a new language - but I listen to a lot of audiobooks in other languages (e.g., Dutch, Spanish, Swedish), which helps quite a bit. I’m always excited to meet native speakers!
Since high school, I’ve been an online tutor for (mostly) maths for teenagers, which I’ve really enjoyed but had to stop for New Zealand (10 hour time difference was just too much). I’ve also done some door-to-door fundraising in the past, which was a tough job but really taught me how to talk to strangers.
