Hello!

We are Peter (M26, Irish) and Saskia (F26 Irish/ Australian). We decided to quit our office jobs and go travelling from Nov 2023 indefinitely.

Along the way, we would like to participate in some workaways. We are interested in learning more about organic, natural and sustainable farming practices and ways of life.

About Peter:
Before leaving my job I worked as an analyst and engineer in a tech start-up for three years. I have many interests including technology, history and languages. I would love to learn woodworking skills and farming practices during my Workaway experiences.

About Saskia:
In 2022 I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in International Tourism & Languages. During my studies, I spent a summer taking part in Workaways in Ariège, France to improve my French language skills and knowledge of sustainability and organic farming. I love surfing, yoga, travelling, fashion, craft and design.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Peter:
- Native English speaker, conversational French.
- Good at working with my hands. Comfortable with power tools / DIY.
- Studied engineering. Specialised in computers but have a good general knowledge of electronics, structures and materials (wood, concrete, steel)
- IT skills. Software engineering/data analyst. I like problem-solving!
- Basic bicycle repair skills.
- Driving license (manual transmission). Comfortable driving vans and large vehicles.
- I like cooking!

Saskia:
- Native English speaker and conversational French.
- Driving license (manual).
- I like to cook and try new food so I can help you out in the kitchen.
- 7 years experience working in the hospitality industry. As a result, I am very dynamic and have great communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in International Tourism - posess in-depth knowledge of the tourism industry.
- Since graduating in 2022, I have worked in a corporate environment as an events coordinator. I like being organised!

Otherwise, I am a curious and quick learner and I would love to acquire new skills during my Workaway experience.
