Hello!
We are two friends, Rosa and Marlena from Austria, who met during school and have been close ever since. After graduating, we decided to pack our backpacks and explore the world together. Both of us grew up on farms – Rosa on a dairy farm and Marlena on a chicken farm – so being close to animals and nature has always been part of our lives.

We are open-minded and always happy to meet new people. What motivates us the most is discovering new cultures, sharing experiences, and trying out new things. We love adventures, meaningful conversations, and exchanging ideas with others.
For us, Workaway is a great opportunity to broaden our cultural horizon while giving something back and helping out wherever we can.

We are looking forward to connecting with new hosts, learning new skills, and creating unforgettable memories together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both graduated from a higher vocational college for Agriculture and Nutrition in Austria and gained a wide range of practical experience during our education. Through several internships we were able to work in different fields such as gastronomy, dairy farming, vegetable and horticulture, farm holidays, zoos, childcare and event farms.

We also had the chance to complete an internship abroad, which not only broadened our cultural horizon but also made us more independent and flexible. During this time we stayed with nice host families and appreciated the cultural exchange.

Our practical skills include cooking, baking, household tasks, animal care and handling, childcare, and general farm work. We are motivated, reliable, and always happy to learn new things. With our background in agriculture and nutrition, we can easily adapt to different tasks and environments, whether it’s working with animals, helping in the kitchen, or supporting families and guests.

In our free time, we enjoy spending time outdoors, going for runs or hikes, swimming, and listening to music. We also love spending time with friends, sharing good conversations and creating memories.

As people we are reliable, independent, communicative, open-minded, curious, helpful and honest. Our motivation is : to make the best out of every moment.
