Hellooo! My name is Rose and I am from the Netherlands. I bought a busticket to Kopenhagen on a whim and want to travel to Sweden from there! I’m looking for a nice community/farm to stay at in June.

I studied languages at university before, but did not enjoy it very much. I think I am too much of an energetic person to be sitting inside all day long. I love hiking and spending time in nature. I am also very passionate about music, finding
out about new music, but also making music. I sing and play some chords on the guitar. But most of all, I love having a good time, discovering new places and meeting new people! I would say I am a happy and sociable person, who is always up for a conversation :)

One of my main goals while traveling is learning new skills. I would be up for anything, but at the moment I am mostly interested in learning more about gardening, painting or carpenting/building. I also worked as a cook in a restaurant for a year, so I am definitely into cooking!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am very passionate about food and cooking. I have prepared meals for bigger and smaller groups, so I know what works for both: I know how to make more difficult meals, but I can also make a simple dish taste good.
I also enjoy working with my hands, and since I only have little experience, I would love to learn more carpenting skills. I do have some experience with natural building (making stonepaths and natural fences), but would not call myself a pro yet ;)
I also have quite some experience with basic paint jobs, like painting walls but also wood like doors or furniture.
I also enjoy working outside very much, so I like gardening and working on farmland as well! With farming I do not have any experience yet, however.
And of course, I can always do basic chores like cleaning and helping with general maintenance as well.
