Hi! I’m a 23-year-old graduate who will be solo travelling (as of Nov 28th) around Asia. I’m looking to do a mix of both travel and work, and I'm especially interested in continuing and deepening my exploration of Buddhism, which is really important to me - especially how it links with the modern view of mental health. I’d also like to take life a bit slower for a while - coming from a bartender job in London this trip will hopefully offer a much needed change of pace. I'm also a beginner drummer and would love to continue practicing on my travels!
While I’m new to Workaway, I’m not new to living abroad, as I lived in China for 6 months a few years ago, which is where my lust for leaving the UK at any and every opportunity was born. I will be travelling for a 7-month period initially, and seeing what comes of it from there.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
- Teaching skills - taught English for 6 months in China
- General DIY from job as bartender - I did much more than just bartending! Fixing furniture, deep cleaning, IT, etc.
- Trained in calisthenics so physically fit for manual labour
- Basic Mandarin & Spanish ability
- Degree in Biomedical Sciences - very knowledgable about the human body!
My previous experience in short-term agency work has made me very adaptable so I am easily able to pick up new situations & environments, and I really enjoy picking up new skills and languages
