Hi there! Welcome to our workaway profile. We are Yvo and Rianne from Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
We love travelling and now that we've explored Europe, we are ready for another adventure.
We are working and travelling in South America at the moment, doing all kinds of projects via WorkAway, and we are very excited about that.

We've been a couple for ten years now and here's some more info about ourselves:

Rianne is born and raised in the city of Amsterdam. She's worked as a primary school teacher in The Netherlands. Rianne likes to go to places that aren't so familiar and loves to explore. She's kind, patient, loves art and adores animals. During our workaway project she's developed herself as quite the artist. Together with Yvo's assistance she has been painting murals all over South America. In hostels, academies and more. One fun fact: she loves to cook that much (especially for other people), that she actually wants to open her own restaurant one day in the (maybe near?) future! As of this moment, she is working online as a translator.

Yvo is born and raised in Delft, a small town that is famous for its typical Dutch blue porcelain and artwork. Yvo is a playwright, theatre maker and journalist by profession. Before that, he used to be a mate on a sailing ship and therefore has some hidden skills. When the sea is nearby you'll start to notice. Yvo loves to immerse himself into other cultures. He likes to get to know the local traditions, food, drinks and learn the language. He enjoys being around people in order to tell great stories and sing songs with eachother. Right now he's working online as well for a culinary magazine. Inspired by Rianne's cooking he writes blogs and articles about food worldwide.

Hola, y bienvenidos a nuestro perfil de workaway. Somos Yvo y Rianne de Amsterdam, Paises Bajos (o puedes llamar nuestro país Holanda también). Nos encanta viajar, y despues nuestras aventuras en Europa, estamos listos para una nueva experiencia. Ahora estamos trabajando y viajando en Suramerica, haciendo muchos proyectos por WorkAway y estamos disfrutandolo mucho!

Estamos un pareja por una decada y aqui puedes encontrar más información sobre nosotros:

Rianne nació en la ciudad de Amsterdam. Ha trabajado como una profesora de la escuela primaria en los Países Bajos. Le encanta ir a lugares que no se conoce y ama la exploración. Ella es amable, paciente, le gusta el arte y le encantan los animales. Mientras nuestros proyectos se desarolló como una artista de verdadera. Con apoyo de Yvo Rianne ha pintado murales en muchos lugares diferentes en Suramerica. En hostales, academias y muchisimo más. Además le encanta cocinar tanto (especialmente por otras personas), que desea abrir su propio restaurante en el futuro. Ahora ella esta trabajando como una traductora en linea.

Yvo nacío en un peoblo se llama Delft. Capital de la porcelana (con su color azul tipico) en los Paises Bajos. El es un libretista, periodista y creador del teatro. Antes era un oficial en un barco de las velas y por eso el tiene unas habilidades escondidos. Cuando el mar sea cerca, puedes dar cuenta de eso. Le encanta ser parte de otras culturas. Le gusta saber las tradiciones y costumbres locales como la comida, bebidas, el arte y los idiomas. Yvo disfruta estar con la gente y intercambiar la historia y otras cuentas. Ahora él esta trabajando por una revista culinaria y esta escribiendo articulos sobre comida en todo el mundo.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Rianne: Professional teaching, cooking, painting, murals, sculpting, child care, art, animal care, scuba diving, translating and gardening.

Yvo: Creative writing, copywriting, blogging, tour guiding, translating, art workshops, theatre, teaching foreign languages, cooking, music, animal care and sailing.

For the last couple of months we have participated in (and initiated) several projects. Including teaching English to local communities, organizing intercambio events, animal rescue and -care, as well as art projects (murals, paintings and poetry).
We are always learning from eachother and other people we meet. So our skills can be interchangeable :-P

ESPAÑOL/SPANISH:
Rianne: Enseñar profesional, cocinar, pintar, pintar de murales, el arte, cuidado de los animales, traducir, bucear y trabajar en el jardin.

Yvo: Escritura creativa, periodistica, guia turistica, traducir, talleres del arte, el teatro, enseñar idiomas extranjeros, cocinar, la musica, cuidado de los animales y la navegacion a vela.

Por las ultimos meses hemos participados en proyectos diferentes. Se incluido enseñar Inglés a comunidades locales, organizado eventos del intercambio, cuidado de los animales y proyectos de los artes. Siempre estamos aprendiendo de nosotros mismos. Pues, nuestros habilidades son intercambiable.

Autres infos...

If it was up to us, we'd like to learn every single language in the world, but we're afraid that's an impossibility. Still, we are very eager to learn new languages. Also we are always interested in learning new skills. After all, the teacher's philosophy is that a human being should never stop learning. Last but not least, we really love to cook and experience new food, as well as other cultural traditions in the field of art and music.

ESPAÑOL/SPANISH:
Querríamos aprender todos los idiomas del mundo, pero creemos que lo es una imposibilidad. Aún, estamos interesado en aprender idiomas extranjeros. Además, querríamos aprender habilidades nuevas. A fin de cuentas, la filosofía del profesor es un ser humano nunca debe dejar de aprender. Para concludir, nos encanta cocinar y experiencar comida extranjera, además de las tradiciones culturales en el campo del arte y la musica, y mucho más.
