Hallo,
ich bin wahrscheinlich nicht der typische workawayer da ich im Rentenalter bin.
Trotzdem bin ich immer noch neugierig auf diese Welt und die Menschen, die in ihr leben.
Ich habe Lust mit Menschen, die sinnvolle Dinge für diese Welt tun, zusammen zu treffen und mit ihnen zu arbeiten.
Ich bin ruhig und gelassen, konnte ja auch schon einige Erfahrungen in meinem Leben sammeln.
Ich bin ein begeisteter Landwirt. Und zwar in Richtung Oekolandwirtschaft. Alles, was mit Natur und Landwirtschaft zu tun hat, interessiert mich. Landwirtschaft mache ich seit 50 Jahren. Ich hatte meine eigene Fleischrinderzucht und einen BIOLAND Gemüsebau.
Ich würde mir gerne noch verschiedene Regionen dieser Welt ansehen und dort mit Menschen zusammentreffen/leben.
Ich bin ein begeisteter Fotograf.Hauptsächlich in der Natur, Tier,Landschafts- und Makrofotografie.
Was mache ich wenn ich zu Hause bin?
Ich arbeite in einem Projekt, wo wir mit Kindergartenkindern einen Garten bewirtschaften.
Ich bin Bürgerwissenschaftler in einem AgroForst Projekt.
Am Wochenende schraube ich an einer alten Lokomotive von 1963.

I think I'm not the typical workawayer because i'm a pensioner. Nevertheless I'm always interested in this world and the people living in it.
I'm interested to meet People doing useful and sensible things and work with them.
As I could gain already some experience in my live I'm calm and laid-back.
I'm inspired in farming, specially in eco-farming and garden work. I did farm work the last fifty years. I had my own cattle farm and my own ecological farm.
I have been two times in Australia ,in the north, working on a irrigation farm in the Kimberly region
In 2021 I was in Spain near Granada helping harvest olives.
I would like to visit different parts of the world meet people there and live and work with them.
A big hobby of me is the photography. Specially the nature, animal, landscape and makro photography.
What do I, when I'm at home?
I work with kids in a garden project.
I am a citizen scientist in an AgroForest Project.
In the weekend I screw with friends at a locomotive from 1963.

I do agriculture work the last 50 years.
I can work with all kind of agriculture machines.
I have had my own eco-vegetable-farm
I have had my own beef cattle farming
I can do all this skills round farmwork like welding, repairing, fixing.
I have been two times in Australia ,in the North, working on a irrigation farm in Kununurra.
Last year I was in Spain near Granada helping harvest olives.

I stayed 4 weeks at Miriams and Eriks place. They are great hosts. We, me and the other two workawayer were fully invoveld in the family live.
I liked my contact to the three kids.
We had many trips together. I was the first time in Berlin. There were wonderful bonfire evenings.
My duties were different and workable.
I can recommend the place.

Thanks a lot for your help und for your community. It was easy with you and you have many skills that we needed and received gratefull. I have been for 4 Weeks at the community in Vorra. I was very well wellcomed by all members and we had a familiar contact. I liked it.
My duties were garden work - we made some new Permakulture beds - some woodwork and helping renovating a house for a new family.
We often spent the evevnings together, sometimes we went to pub.

Rainer was a great help for us with his excellent skills in cutting . wood and maintenance of chain saws as well as his agricultural knowledge. We love his calm and sympathetic way. and his team work abilities. We look forward to see him soon again in our community.

I liked my stay at the "Blaue Blume" from the first up to the last day.I was very well welcomed by all the people and I had good connections to all of them.
My duties were exact that I like to do:garden work and work in the forest.
My room was a hotel room: excellent!
The food was good and diversified.
I would go back at any time.
