Actuellement, nous sommes

Description

We are a young couple who love food, traveling, outdoor adventure and building community. Both of us have spent an extensive period of time in food service and are currently employed as bakers. Our passion and interest in food extends to the garden and farm. I (Zach) have worked and lived on multiple organic farms and travelled through wwoof and workaway previously. Learning how to grow food in different parts of the world has been a great joy for me, and one I'm hoping to explore more soon. I (Rachel) am a natural green thumb who grew up gardening with my family. I've worked on two farms growing vegetables and caring for livestock. I'm eager to learn more. We both love children and have professional experience in childcare/education. We want to find places where we can expand our agricultural knowledge, exchange culture and language and contribute to unique and interesting projects. We'd love to cook for any and all(and learn to cook some new food too!) and meet like minded individuals on our travels.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are both experienced and talented in the kitchen. Both of us are avid bakers and love to cook for large numbers of people. We especially love to cook with fresh and seasonal produce. We have a fair amount of experience working on farms/gardens of a variety of sizes and focuses. We both have entry level construction skills and are do shy away from learning new skills or being out of our comfort zone. Between service industry experience and agricultural work we are not strangers to hard labor and long hours. Both of us love a challenge, working efficiently, and enjoy collaborating with others.

We are both avid readers, Rachel is a ceramicist. We both enjoy yoga, playing cards. Zach is a half decent musician and more than half decent poet. We both love a good hike and love to swim in natural bodies of water
