I'm travelling this summer in Sweden, to explore and experience more of scandinavia

Description

Hi, I'm Pierre, 21 Years old and I live in the Switzerland mountains.
I have restarted my studies last year in Tourismus after a few years of apprenticeship, working and travelling.

During my travel in Canada and Norway in 2023 and 2024, I have made several Workaways :
Everyone was very different but really interesting, I did a lot of gardening, cooking or walking dogs. I also helped building different kind of things like a roof for an outdoor kitchen or laying a wooden floor and painting decks or walls.
I met a lot of new people form all around the world, we made some road trips and lots of fun activities.
My past experiences with workaway was truly wonderful, it is hard to write it in just a few words.
I'am keeping just amazing memories, met a lot of different people, traveller or host and that stay truly as one of the best experience in my life.

I really want to continue exploring and meeting people, embrace local culture and different way of living.
This summer after a month of work at my local mountain resort in July, I want to return to Norway and Sweden with as goal, the Lofoten island. On my way to those wonderful piece of land, I want to continue exploring Scandinavia which I started in 2024. I love the lifestyle, the people and the nature of the northern european country.

My first language is French and I learned English and German at school. My level in German is very bad but my English is pretty good so there won't be any issue.

About my character. I would describe myself as easy going, curious, I have lots of interest but I still love trying new sports, games or works. I think I'm an happy and dynamic person, I enjoy my life and I want to make other people happiness too. Not to brag of course :):)

My hobbies are outdoors sports in general. I live in the middle of the mountain so of course I love skiing downhill or touring in winter, and mountain bike, camping, hiking in summer. I alos want to try other sports and activity like climbing, rafting or what else. I am very open-minded so all new things are welcome. I love doing board games with other people, it is so much fun.
I also like cooking, I won't say that everything I cook are good but I hope some are.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I did a logistic formation in Swatch Manufacture between 2019 and 2022. This formation are blending school and work at the factory. After this, I stay in the same factory for one year to accumulate more experience. I liked this experience but I worked everytime indoor and it's a little oppressive at the end. Then I did a few different work before restarting school in 2025

In my early childhood, between 3 months and 6 years old, I lived in a goat farm so i grew up with animals and I loved it, I also had the luck to take care of Codie a cute Australian Shepherd for 2 weeks in Bowen Island, Canada

I love working with my hands, I am very active, maybe too much sometimes. We have a little vegetable garden and some Fruits threes in my parents house so I like to help them for the harvest, cut the threes, sowing vegetable or flower seeds and taking of the gardens. I also like to mow the lawn and helping my dad and my mother with differents house reparation and housework. During my differents workaway I had the opportunity of Building a roof for an outdoor kitchen, I helped to install a wooden floor, I did some painting for a deck, a wall and some restauring work on an old bench.

I also have cooking skills, mainly for chocolate dessert, but I can do anything ;)
I am realy interested to know how can I reduce my environmental impact for a better world and a better life in the future. In my free time, I spend a lot of time learning about new farming techniques and informat myself how I can help the earth to be better.

I am a fast learner and I always want to know more and more about everything.
