! Looking for travelmate(s) and tips !
Hey everyone,
I have recently discovered the fun and freedom of bikepacking. After some smaller trips in the Netherlands, France, and Norway, I am now ready to embark on a bigger journey ! As you can see on the map, I am planning to go from Belgium all the way up to Denmark (Ancient road) and then passing by Sweden to go to Baltic countries (EuroVelo 10). My itinerary is still flexible and I am open for recommendations and tips.
Via my previous experiences I have seen that I prefer to alternate between biking days and longer stays at one area, so my idea is to find some projects along the way to help, discover, and not make me sick of biking haha. During the biking part, I plan to partly camp and partly sleep at other cyclists’ places (via Warmshowers).
I would also like to share this adventure with other like-minded travellers so if you want to join me for (part) of the trip, I would love to hear from you !
A bit more about me:
- I am a Belgian 22-year old who want to discover new people, new places, and myself at the same time
- I love to go on very spontaneous trips without planning anything
- I am pretty bad in talking about me but I love to listen to other’s ideas.
- I am veryyy unhandy, I am learning how to fix my bike right now, which is quite essential I agree, but I am starting from zero haha
- I don’t know anymore where I saw this theory, but people with the matching music tastes will also match more easily, so I share mine
- Most important during this trip: sharing laughs, anecdotes and great coffee (optional) 😊
- What I love: running, playing chess, puzzling
- What I hate: making choices, important phone calls, and my diabetes
More practical info:
- I will leave Brussels at the start of March and I am planning to come back end of May.
- I am biking around 65-70km per travelling day.
- I am flexible on routes, the activities, etc. lets discuss it.

I can help with all types of tasks such as cooking, guest hosting, taking care of the pets, etc. I would love to learn new skills and I am very flexible for any type of task.
