We are curently travelling accross north of Europe in our van and we would like to learn about organic farms or to provide any help in the countryside

Hello!
We are Paul and Sophie, 28 et 29 years old.
We just both quited our jobs (respectively mechanical engineer and nurse) to take over the organic farm of Paul's parents. But before that we decided to take some time to travel in Europe in order to learn and to discover a bit more.

We want to discover new cultures, new countries and share with people beside of learning things. Not only farming but anything useful or interesting.

Paul :
I like sport in general, I run a lot and I like montain bike.
My parents are farmers in an organic farm, I spent a lot of time helping them : driving tractors, removing weeds in the fields, fixing the mechanic.
I like nature and the great outdoors. I do a lot of hiking, alone or with friends in the Pyrennées or the Alpes in France.
I like science a lot. For work I'm specialised in mechanics which is one of my passion. I love to understand or design mechanical things. I have a 3d printer at home. One of my dream would be to design new tools for my farm.
I really liked the technical part of my job but I quited it because my valors did not match anymore with it.


Sophie :
I like handiwork : I love fixing things inside or outside, for example we just improved and fixed plenty of things in our van. I always have my screwdriver drill with me ! I can also do sewing, knitting, bicycle mechanic... I am usually able to learn things fast and I can teach to others with pleasure.
I like being outside : I love hiking, trekking, I used to do horseriding a little bit and I am now learning how to drive tractors. I like taking car of animals in general (I mean, not just petting). I have a dog and a cat at home who I miss so much.
But I also love quiet time at home and reading books which has been my passion since I was a child.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As Paul's parents are farmers in an organic farm which we are planning to take over, we are used to help and we are not afraid to spend our time in the fields tearing off the weeds or replants the leeks for example.
We have some knowledge in mechanical, computer and handiwork in general.
We can also provide help at home, we are used to cook together even if our talent is limited for it.
But the most important thing is that we want to learn. We are very excited to understand and see how you work.
