Hello, my name is Patricia and I am 51 years old working woman. I love nature and animals. I am a welcoming and caring person. Sharing and helping each other's out are values that give meaning to my life.
I worked 22 years for the city of Montreal in horticulture. I love it but I needed to do another project that looks more like me. I have a lot of interest in organic farming, medicinal plant and food forest.
I live in the forest on top of a mountain with my boyfriend and my dog. We built a tiny house, we try to live independently , it's our new way of life. I think Workaway is for us:)
The idea of traveling in workaway seems very interesting to make beautiful encounters, meet nice people and live new experiences. This will allow me to continue learning my English

Let me introduce myself, my name is Yanick and I am 54 years old. I am a French Canadian who wants to learn, practice and improve my English. I recently discovered the concept of exchange, travel, work, and I really like it. I want to contribute to these exchanges by highlighting my years of life and work experience, because I think I will be a very competent candidate.
A former contractor who gave up everything to change his life and embark on the adventure. I stand out mainly in the field of wood. Whether for pruning, cutting, transforming, building, renovating, etc., I have a passion for manual work and I am self-taught. I love helping people. Carry out projects and find solutions to problems.
I have accumulated experience in various fields, without being qualified. On a pig, dairy and vegetable farm, in landscaping, maintenance, earthmoving and horticulture. What I love and what fascinates me is nature, fishing, hiking, bird watching and other animals, and my faithful four-legged companion.


Hi, my name is Woody, I am a 3 year old English Setter. I am a pointing dog for hunting. I am sweet, cheerful and affectionate. I am full of enthusiasm and active. I enjoy learning and playing new games, except fetching the ball or the stick because I don't understand anything about it.
My relationships with children, farm animals and my peers are very good. I am sporty and vigorous, this is the reason for my physical appearance. I am thin and muscular, I have a severe diet because I have digestive problems. I eat a very healthy and balanced specialty food ... but sometimes I can show you some tricks I learned for a small piece of cheese.
My favorite activities, bird watching, running in the forest and jumping in the fields in search of partridges to finish then in the couch. My strong points, tracking undoubtedly, then my ability to be attentive, observant, funny, expressive, affectionate and talkative but I am not a barker except to warn. My weak points or the! Not obvious, this question…?!. Depends for whom? Let’s pass! !
My dreams! Traveling with my masters, exploring new horizons, feeling new smells, meeting new friends, living my life. My fear of being left alone in a kennel and missing all this.

Gardener
We are a horticulturist and arborist. Patricia worked 22 years in this field.
I did the vegetables gardens. Desing of flower beds, landscaping.
Maintenance and watering of the plants. I am interested in learning more
about the experiences of others.

Now, we work in an Outfitter since 2021
We are manager, custor service, camp clean, general maintenance (camp and trail)
Chop the wood and rope it etc...

Animals
We lived on a farm, I took care of goats, horse , pigs, chickens, dogs and cats.
Afterward, we had the chance to have our own farm. Taking care of the animals
is a pleasure do not a chore.

I am good at cooking, I am gourmet and I like to taste new recipes.

I usually, I have ease with children. I like to play with them and play tricks.
I love children ❤️

I am good help in making construction project . My husband and I have renovated
our house and built a tiny house. I'm very good at using miltre saw.
