Hello friends!

Currently in Lapland working a seasonal job as all around waitress and bartender!

I’m a person who is always expanding my ideas of living, who values good conversation and new perspectives. The choices I make and places I visit are based on my feelings, while leaving more then enough room for spontaneity! I have loads of different interests like nature, food, arts, music, and I am always eager to learn about new things that others are passionate about. Curiosity is a trade that gets you places :)

A word that matters a lot to me is the Dutch word “Gezellig.” There is no direct translation that captures the meaning of the word, but for me “Gezellig” is rather a connection or feeling from people you care about and atmospheres that are welcoming. I want to create that in my life and share that with others too. Some examples that create that feeling within me are board game nights, working collaboratively on a project, and being with people sharing an good experience. In my opinion being connected to each other and nature is the way to a better world.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I´m a person who is eager to learn new skills and never goes out for way of a challenge. Most of my abilities lay in the food department. I love to cook (mostly vegetarian/vegan food) and learn about different ingredients and techniques.
Also have experience in making the most delicious coffees and serving them with a smile!

I have worked at an alternative bar with concerts where i helped cleaning, do the administration and ofcourse stand behind the bar :)

The social aspect of tasks speak to me a lot too. I have been babysitting for about 5 years. In other jobs, talking to people, taking charge, solving problems in a collaberative manner is one of my strengths. Sometimes I can be a bit direct, so I am definitely not afraid to reach out and make contact.

I like doing things with my hands such as being creative, gardening, all kinds of painting ( such as houses) and ofcourse cooking. I would like to learn more practical skill such as building things besides Ikea beds.

Some other random fun things I have a little skill in are writing, psychology and diaboloing.
