Description
Hi! My name is Ninon and I'm a half-Japanese and half-French 21 years-old student in France. I'm taking a one-year gap year to stay in Japan, where I grew up during the 10 first years of my life. So, I can speak French and Japanese. I can also speak English and German because I spent one year in Scotland last year, and I've spent few months in Germany in different places.
I'm someone extremely curious, I love learning about the world and other people, about how they live, how they think... I love reading litterature or essaies, playing and listening to music, experiencing new things and I love travelling alone, even if I've been mostly in European countries so far.
I have already some volontering experience (woofing, gardering, organisation of festivals, carpentry, restauration of an old castle, in a food truck...), and I can't wait to continue in Japan !

二ノンです！ フランスの大学に通ってる２１っ歳の日仏のハーフ です。子供のころ１０年間日本に住んだので完璧でなくても、日常生活に十分の日本語を話せます。一年間日本に帰りたくて休学中です。目的は日本でいろんな所に行って、いろんなことを経験して、大学で学べないいろんなことを習うことです。そのためにWorkAwayはちょうどいいと思います。
人と話すことが好きで性格的にはとても好奇心でオープンマインドです。文学、音楽、物理学と社会学について特に興味持ってます。けど一番好きなのは、新しいことを習うことです！
ボロンティアの経験は既にあります。
ついでにフランス語、英語とドイツ語話せます。

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I'm a student in social sciences (political sciences, political philosophy etc...). Maybe not the most useful in a work away, but at least I'm good in theoritical stuffs and I can teach French, English and basic German.
I have done volontering before so I have some more concrete skills. Indeed, I've done:
- traditional carpentry
- tradition restauration of old castles
- gardening
- staff in a food truck
- taking care of children (I have lot of experience because I have two much littler sisters!)

When I'm alone, in my free time, I love reading, playing music (flute and horn, a bit of piano), drawing, hiking... !

I’ve learnt so much with Sho and Tatsuya, above all about satoyama-oriented life, and the location was good, quite deep in the countryside, surrounded by beautiful mountains! I found the work diversified and interesting, and it wasn’t too hard, so I had plenty of time for myself which was very nice. I… read more
The work itself wasn’t that hard (like cutting grass) and was only from 8am to 12 which let me the whole afternoon/evening free. The nature around is very beautiful, and the village itself is very welcoming and nice. Living in her amazing guest house was also very nice to have… read more
Her enthusiasm, politeness, and precision in her work were excellent and we trusted her very much. She was a great communicator and talked well with all the guests, which always made the atmosphere of the guesthouse warm and nice. If we had any questions or… read more
