Hello Sunshine!! I’m Nikki, and I have decided I want to travel the world to see what I can see.
Nature has always been a huge part of my life, and recently after learning bits about foraging, it has become more and more clear to me how much I not only want to spend as much time as possible in nature but learn about it, everything I can learn. I have decided to change the course of my life and, through workaway, I want to immerse myself in everything and anything to do with growing food, working in a food forest and building eco structures (houses, compost toilets, poly tunnels etc) and anything else I can help you with. Right now I want nothing more than to help people create their dreams and to learn as much as I can along the way. This is something I’m so passionate about and one day when I’m ready to settle down I will build my own life in this way too.
I have had one workaway experience about 4 years ago, I was helping to set up the first edition of a festival called Anthropos and it was the most amazing introduction to workaway I could have had. I watched the festival grow from the ground up, I helped with décor, building structures, ideas, cooking and met many wonderful humans along the way.

Some info about me

Something I have discovered very recently is that I love to write. I sit back and just let my imagination go wherever it wants to go and watch while characters, worlds or stories form. I have always loved immersing myself in the worlds we cannot see.
Other than spending a lot of my time with friends and family, I love to dance, learn, read and explore the countryside around me.

When I was young I travelled with my family to some places in Europe such as Spain, Italy, America, France and Switzerland. In my adult life I have been to Reykjavik in Iceland, Iquitos in Peru, explored parts of Cuba on a holiday with my friends. I had many amazing moments seeing and experiencing things I had never imagined! I would like to start to experience travelling not as a tourist but learn as much as I can about the place I am in, and immerse myself in the culture.

Currently I am at home in England where I grew up, I am so excited to begin this adventure and see where it may take me.

I cannot wait to hopefully meet you one day soon!

I have had some experience of carpentry/building work from a previous workaway
I have some experience with gardening
I have a beginners knowledge on plants (I was mainly looking into edible wildplants)
I am creative and have a good imagination.
