Welcome on my profile!
I am a woman of 24 who finished this summer a Bachelor in Civil Engineering focusing on water in Copenhagen, Denmark. Since then I have been travelling trying out different things I am interested in. After that I have plans of returning to Copenhagen and study a Master in Ocean Engineering.
I am originally from Germany and Austria but am influenced by other cultures through travelling and living abroad.
I love travelling and enjoy especially doing it slowly emerging deeply. I started exploring other cultures early: as a 16 year old I went on exchange to Denmark for eleven months and since then travel fever never left me. So continued with workawaying 2 months as an 18 year old in Poland, and then 3 years ago I spend 9 months exploring Argentina and Chile. Also besides my studies I spend a lot of my vacations visiting friends all over Europe by train.
I'm (nearly) always full of energy and enjoy learning and seeing new things. I especially love meeting new people, experience their daily lives and hear their view on the world. To do so, an important part of travelling consists for me in trying to learn the local language.
Another thing I'm really passionate about is juggling and anything related to circus arts. In general I like arts no matter if theater, painting or music. I am also into Swing dance.
I 'm an active person, so I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, biking swimming, slacklining, bouldering and probably I would also enjoy climbing (never tried).
I love to cook and try out new vegetarian recepies.
From my time in Denmark I learned to "hygge" (enjoying wellbeing is my personal definition) and I love to do so a lot and often :D Especially talking with a good friend while drinking tea is one of my favourite activities!!!

I'm a really honest person but also a really tolerant one. I enjoy living a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My biggest skill I guess is the ability and motivation to try out and learn new stuff. So I'm open for (nearly) every kind of work, but in the following you can read about my (working) skills and experiences:
Building: I just finished bachelor in civil engineering. I did some plastering and sanding at a workaway. But the practical construction I have not yet done so much.
Cooking/Shopping: I really enjoy cooking and I guess I am pretty good at it. My special skill concerning cooking is that I am pretty good at cooking vegan, gluten free, etc. What's important to know on my cooking skills is, that since I have lived vegetarian all my life I won't cook meat.
Help in the house: My mum learned me and my siblings how to do the laundry, how to clean, and etc.. I also did some cleaning when I did an internship in a hotel for one week and while working in hostels.
Gardening: I learned a bit how to make a garden ready for winter and plant some bushes in a workawaz
Helping with Tourists: I really enjoy working with tourists because you can meet a lot of different people and it is nice to help fellow travelers :) I have worked in Hostels and a Hotel in different countries. I have done mainly reception, breakfast and cleaning.
Computers/Internet: I am familiar with Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. I have experience coding in Phyton and Matlab. Right now I also installed Linux and starting to learn how to use it.
Language Practice: I have some experience teaching friends German and Danish.
Teaching: I can teach how to juggle and really enjoy doing so. Elseway I'm open to teach any skill I have, but I don't know what the results are going to be.
Other: I guess I'm pretty good at juggling and I can play violin pretty well. Furthermore I'm able to knit (I knitted my own socks).

I had a cronic tendonitis in my hands and it has gotten better a lot over the past couple of months so I hope I can do everything but carrying heavy stuff for days for example might still be a thing i can't do. But contact me if you are in doubt if I can do the tasks you have in mind!
