Description
Hi there! I’m Mytree from Germany. In 2026, I’m fulfilling a long-held dream: I’ll be taking an eight-month break for a Work & Travel adventure in Canada. In May, I plan to hop on my bike, pack my tent and camping gear, and travel across Canada – from Ontario all the way to the west coast.
I’m an easy-going person who seeks travel adventures, enjoys meeting interesting people, and spending time together or even traveling together for a while. Since I’m not in a rush while crossing the country, I’d love to stay from time to time at a host’s place for a couple of days and take a break from cycling by helping with work.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I am the oldest of six siblings, so I have plenty of experience taking care of (young) children. During high school and university, I worked in an ice cream parlor and in organic food stores, which helped me develop strong customer service and teamwork skills. After finishing school, I completed two years of volunteer work in a kindergarten and another placement at the Environmental Protection Office. There, I learned many practical outdoor skills, including using a chainsaw and general land maintenance.
I hold a Master of Education in Biology and Geography and have worked as an elementary school teacher. For the past few years, I’ve been working for an NGO focused on democracy education. A small part of my current job also involves public relations. I learned this mainly by doing and now have solid experience in PR work, managing a WordPress website - especially using the Divi Builder - and creating content. I’m also very comfortable designing posters, flyers, and social media content using Canva.
I’m generally handy and enjoy taking on maintenance tasks, picking up skills as I go. I love knitting and would be happy to assist others in learning. I enjoy DIY projects, and if I don’t know how to do something, I will certainly figure it out. I’ve also been very into upcycling, transforming cloth, and furniture. Lately, I’ve been spending more time with my bike, learning how to fix things and take care of it. I love being creative and working with my hands, and I’m always excited to learn new skills or help wherever I can.
