I have quite some experience of farm work, gardening and housework. I have also worked in an art gallery as a sales person, in a pub and a cafe. I have done some voluntary work caring for disabled persons.

I am a firm believer that a change is as good as a rest and I would love to spend some of my free time exploring new places and meeting new people. I spent some time in the summer of 2018 helping out in a cafe in Ireland and I loved every minute of it. Then I had the good fortune to spend two weeks in Sligo in 2019 and another (almost) two in Newtonards in 2020 and again, it was everything I had hoped for and more. Then I was lucky enough to stay in county Clare in 2021 and loved every minute of it.

Monika was superhero to share my home with. A really lovely and interesting lady. We had lots of fun during her stay. I felt like I was on holidays while at home.
She is a hard and thoughtful worker. I loom forward to spending time with her again. She was very kind and interactive with my family and friends. She also makes amazing cakes.

Monika was great to have around the place as she was willing to help out with any tasks that was asked of her. We were out in the field picking potatoes ,planting herbs and sowing garlic. Monika was also great with the animals helping to feed and muck them out ,and even had time to help with jobs on the computer .All of these operations took place… read more

My week with Bridget, Dessie and Shannon was just grand. I loved the work, the conversations, the chance to immerse myself in the beauty of Co. Meath. They were fun to be with, friendly and ever so kind. I was so lucky - I got all I was hoping for - great people, green fields and sensible work. Thank you thank you thank you!
