Hello! I’m a 51-year-old recently retired teacher, mother of two sons and five step children, and a lifelong learner with an adventurous spirit and a nurturing heart. After 26 years of teaching middle school math on the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming, working closely with the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho communities, I’ve stepped into a new chapter—one where I get to combine work, travel, creativity, and connection.

Throughout my career, I delivered up to seven lively lessons a day to what I lovingly called “Hormonal Hecklers”—and I truly enjoyed the challenge! The energy of youth kept me sharp, and the joy of problem-solving and guiding young minds rarely wore thin.

Now, I'm taking my skills, spirit, and stories on the road. I’ve spent extended time in Europe, as well as memorable stays in Mexico, Alaska, and Hawaii. I’m handy with tools, great in the garden or kitchen, experienced in tutoring, organizing, cleaning, decorating, and always happy to bring in the fun—or keep things calm and quiet, depending on what’s needed.

**Why I’m Here:**
I’m looking for meaningful exchanges where I can contribute my energy, experience, and enthusiasm in return for community, inspiration, and the chance to continue learning. I have two personal goals during my travels:
🎵 *Deepen my understanding of the music industry*—including talent development, booking, social media, and digital content. I was a singer in a funk and soul band for six years and continue to pursue music actively.
📝 *Write every day,* guided by Anne Lamott’s “Bird by Bird” and the beautiful environments I find myself in.
