Hi there!
My name is Mila, I’m 24 years old and a University student based in Montreal. I was born in Peru and being living in Montreal, Canada since I was 14. I speak Spanish, English and French as my primary languages. Looking forward to get out of the city and visit any part of the world I can reach, learn and share a lot and mostly get to know amazing people!
I had my first Workaway experience in 2018 in Kobe, Japan and it was a true delight. After that, I had very nice experiences in South America working in Guesthouses, farms and gardens.

I'm an Animation student so I’m a lot into Filmmaking, drawing, sculpting, painting, photography. I sometimes write poems and stories. I’ve loved all the gardening experiences I’ve had over the years so interested in helping with that! I'm thrilled to join someone else's projects and help them out as much. I enjoy peaceful and quiet places but wouldn't mind the sound of the city.
I have always have this connexion or close approach to any kind of art is in front of me. I always have trouble spacing out for any artistic event, doesn't matter how small or how fast it happens.
I have experience working with domestic animals from working in a society against animal cruelty, whether they're sick or unstable. Even though I don't have experience with farm animal care, I would be more than happy and totally excited to learn! I have always being interested in charity and social work.
Teaching something in a way that it can make a positive impact in any form or shape through other cultures sounds like something I would also gladly be proud to experience.
Hopefully, we can get to meet and share together this summer 2024. Excited to meet my destination and its people, whether it's far or really really far!

I have been multilingual almost all of my life, my interest on new languages has always been very natural to me. I have loved my passed language teaching experiences and look forward to doing it again. Also would want to learn from native speakers in a fun and comfortable way any chance I get!

I have good experience working with domestic animals since I was a kid. I always tend to draw and present some of my mind-projections through art. I always write whatever I see to put it in my own words and read it on other people's voice. Doesn't matter what situation, I always stay open minded and empathic. All my family members think I always give this certain unique vibe to the place I'm in. (i hope in a good way) I'm always up to learn and listen!

I am an Art student so naturally driven by any artistic project that comes my way. I always carry a camera with me to capture not just landscapes but people and moments, this is more than a hobby to me. I am also a dance student, could not imagine not doing that at least a moment during the day and anytime. I am also ... a cook! Took interest a couple of years ago and has been my main work and passion lately. Anywhere I go, I always look forward to a way to express artistically, would love to help with any projects and ideas!
