After 12 exhausting years of school, my girlfriend (Mia) and I (Luka) are ready to explore new regions of this world. Therefore, we are taking one year off, before we are probably going to study at universities.

My name is Luka and I grew up in a rural region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a federal state in north Germany. Hence, I can perform small craft activities, for instance, I’m familiar with repairing old bicycles or minor wood crafting. By growing up with six siblings, I know how to cope and interact with kids and young adults (also through my niece and nephew, who were born in 2015). My friends describe me as a very humours person, who always needs to be in action. Therefore, I enjoy playing football, darts, lifting, and volleyball. Lastly, my major interests besides sports are math and programming.

My Name is Mia Garanty and I am as well from a small city in the north of Germany.
I would love to find a friendly Family, where ich can babysit, cook, bake and/ or clean. Moreover, my interests are art, music and dancing.
I guess I am not very talented in manual work, but I would like to learn it. In general, I am also willing to work a lot in the garden and take care of animals, even if I just have minor experience in doing so. Furthermore, animal wealth is very important to me and that’s why I haven’t eaten meat for a few years. I hope that’s not a big problem.

We as a couple want to experience a lot of new things (e.g. new sports, food and work). Also, we would like to get to know your culture and maybe show you some new aspects of Germany (e.g. the language, new recipes and much more).

It would be a pleasure to meet you and your family in person :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Luka can teach math and basic physics to students (he did so in Germany and would be excited to try it in English). In general, he loves digital/technical work and aspires to study in related fields.
I (Mia) am looking forward to become an elementary school teacher in Germany. To gain more experience with children, I would like to work with them.
But as we mentioned earlier, we are not shy to try new work fields, sports, activities, or cultural aspects. Feel free to get in contact with us :)))
