Hi! My name is Matilde and I am 22 years old. I have been traveling and volunteering on and off for the past 3 years.
At the moment my biggest wish is to learn:) I want to get into more bodywork (to learn about mind and body connection) and deepen my yoga practice. I would love to learn from other passionate souls and give back by being a helping hand wherever I could be needed. Permaculture and herbalism are also big passions for me that I would love to get more knowledge about. Generally I would just be so grateful to learn any kind of bodywork or any kind of crafts that anyone would want to share with me.
The past 3 years I have gotten a lot of experience with volunteering on various different projects. This has changed my life completely and I am very grateful for all the experiences I have gotten, people I have met and things I have learned. I love joining projects that I can put my heart in and through passion create great things.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

CHILDCARE:
I have worked as a babysitter for many years and have worked in both a nursery and a kindergarten for some time. I connect a lot with children and love seeing eye to eye and being creative with them.

PERMACULTURE:
This is a point I am very passionate about. I learned quite a few things while volunteering in a permaculture project in Asturias with very dedicated and loving souls and also helping a couple in their garden in Galicia. Yet I don't have much experience in it but would love dedicate a lot of time and attention to learn about sustainable farming.

CONSTRUCTION:
I love the idea of creating things with my own hands and am gathering more experience and knowledge of it over the years. At home I build a workshop from the bottom with my dad and learned a lot about all the little details of building a cabin out of only reused materials. Tho this is a point that I too don't have a lot of experience in but would love to learn more about.

ANIMAL CARE:
I have had dogs my whole life and I love animals with all of my heart. I have volunteered in Costa Rica at a huge animal rescue center where the main jobs were taking care of the dogs.

TEACHING:
I have done charity work in my home town working at a place for vulnerable young people where I was a tutor. In high school my main subject was English and I would say I have a great level of English which I would be able to teach others.

CREATIVITY:
I love being creative and exploring the capabilities of my mind. I write a lot and draw sometimes. I also sew and crochet clothes and other things. Nothing professional but extremely open to learning and challenging my skills.

I am very open and ready to learn new skills and take on various tasks to help on some amazing WorkAway projects.
