About me: Marine, 29, French, passionate about nature and the great outdoors, curious about everything in general, I love learning and trying out new things, meeting new people.
I love eating and discovering new products/dishes from around the world.
I'm starting a gap year at the beginning of July - 4 months in Indonesia, 2 months in Philippines then off to New Zealand for an indefinite period (until I'm bilingual ;).
I have my working holidays visa.

Best guide ever!! Steve is so kind and generous. I felt at home, which is so precious when you travel. Steve took the time to show me the best places in the Catlins, once again thank you very much! The house is very comfortable and has a great collection of DVDs (including Lord of the Rings, of course).
I recommend it 200% :)

Marine was a perfect helper. She was with me for 10 days and in that time achieved a huge amount in my garden. She cleared grass and weeds (like a champion), hauled lots of heavy stuff up and down the steep garden, helped build a brick wall for a seat, collected fruit and helped with many other jobs in the garden. I spent two weeks with Sarndra, it was my first workaway and what an experience!!! Sarndra is lovely and passionate about gardening. Her garden is wonderful (and huge), with several fruit trees, vegetables, flowers etc.
