Hello, my name is Maria and I have 29 years old.

I was born and raised on a small village in Portugal, surrounded by nature and love. I am a person passionate about life, with a deep interest in working with the elderly and children, especially through alternative initiatives that connect with nature and humanitarian values of care. I believe that simplicity and joy are the keys to a fulfilling life, and this is what I seek in every moment.

My greatest motivation is to contribute to the well-being of others by offering care, attention, and support. Working with children and the elderly brings me a sense of fulfillment and happiness because I believe in the importance of nurturing and passing on values that can transform lives.

What makes me happy is waking up every morning with the opportunity to feel alive, surrounded by simplicity and joy, and being able to share this with those around me. I am always open to learning and growing, and I see every experience as a chance to connect more deeply with the world and with others.

I am excited to collaborate on projects that align with these values and to contribute my energy, dedication, and love for others.

I am currently part of an educational project in Portugal called "Raízes Profundas," where I teach Portuguese to foreigners and run a small workshop with the elderly. This experience has deepened my passion for language teaching, and I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge and skills in this area. Teaching languages aligns perfectly with my vocation to help others. I find great fulfillment in empowering individuals to communicate and connect through language, whether they are newcomers learning Portuguese or older adults engaging in meaningful activities. This work not only enriches my life but also strengthens my belief in the power of education as a tool for personal and communal growth.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In addition to my passion for working with children and the elderly, I also bring strong skills in language teaching, particularly in Portuguese and English. I have experience assisting others in learning languages, tailoring my approach to meet individual needs and helping students build confidence in their communication abilities.

I have participated in summer camps, where I had the opportunity to engage with children and young people in various activities, fostering a fun and educational environment. These experiences have honed my ability to work collaboratively, adapt to different situations, and create meaningful connections with participants.

Moreover, I have volunteered at festivals, where I learned to work efficiently in a team, manage tasks under pressure, and contribute to the overall success of the events. These roles have allowed me to develop a strong sense of responsibility, creativity, and the ability to bring positive energy to any project I’m involved in.
