Hi! My name is Maggie, I'm 25 and I finished my Bachelor degree in Psychology last year. Since then I have spent a lot of time traveling New Zealand and before I start my Masters in October I would like to explore the beautiful countries a bit closer to home. I have had several great Workaway experiences in Scotland & England (2019&2020) and in New Zealand (2024) and find it to be a great way of traveling and meeting new people.

In general, I'm an outgoing person who likes to meet new people and have a nice chat and laugh together but am also respectful of other people's space. In my free time I enjoy doing craft projects like crocheting or a variety of other crafts as well as dancing, going for walks outside or reading.
In my previous Workaways and other jobs in New Zealand and the UK I have planted trees, done fruit picking, land clearing, garden work (weeding, planting, etc.), helped with building vegetable beds and fences, done housework in holiday cottages & a hostel, and helped with renovations (mainly painting). I enjoy working outside and am happy to lend you a hand with your current projects. I'm also always happy to learn and try new things.

For my trip around Europe I'm looking forward to meeting different people in different countries and helping them with projects in and around the house.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In the last year I have worked in native tree planting in New Zealand as well as on orchards doing fruit picking and fruit thinning. I have quite a bit of experience with gardening in different people's gardens (in Scotland, New Zealand and at home). Additionally I have close to 8 years experience as a waitress in a local restaurant in my home town. I am good at organising/planning, working with other people and have experience with sewing, gardening, diy/craft projects and (mainly vegetarian) cooking.
