Hi! We are Maggie and Max and recently finished our Bachelor Degrees in regional Management and Nature Conservation (Max) and Psychology (Maggie). Before we start our Masters in the fall 2024, we wish to take the time to travel and explore New Zealand and South East Asia. I (Maggie) have had some great experiences with doing Workaway in the United Kingdom in 2019 and found it a great way to connect with people and have unique experiences while traveling, which is why we would like to volunteer during our trip.

We are both quite outgoing people, who laugh a lot and like meeting new people. Maggie likes doing diy/art projects (crocheting, painting etc.) and reading and Max has a big passion for nature (especially birds) and photography. Together, we like to dance (salsa, latin, tango), go on hikes or walks in nature, do photography and spend time with friends.

We both grew up with two siblings each and had pets in the family. We both have experince in the restaurant industry with waitressing and bartending and have done quite a lot of gardening (at home or at previous workaway stays), which we both like quite a lot. Max has also worked in Child Care in Germany and Maggie has previously worked at a Hostel and Holiday Cottages via Workaway.

For our trip and workaway, we would like to make new connections and meet new people, work in nature conservation or nature projects, see beautiful spots and live life to the fullest!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Max: I have worked in different restaurants and a landscape/gardinening firm and have extensive knowledge about birds (:D). I like doing photography and have experience in social media management (Instagram).

Maggie: I have 3 years experience as a waitress in a local restaurant with a big outdoor seating area in my home town. During my Bachelors I had an assistant researcher posititon. I am good at organising/planning, working with other people and have experience with sewing, gardening, diy/craft projects and cooking.
