** I will be in Crete Island Greece for two weeks in September and i would like to find nice projects and freindly and easygoing people to spend time in beautiful nature in country side **

Hi. I have been doing workaway-style life for a while now and even more than before I found it interesting as my experiences there have been evolved to some new meanings. I'm from Iran, came to Europe 13 years ago as an experiment originally, but im still here with the idea of experiencing new stuff. For big part of my life in the past I spent my time living in the cities & studying & working in offices as an engineer, most recent one in Milan, Italy. Now that section is long gone for me as I redirected my life towards countryside/close-to-nature form since almost 5 years. So now I adopt workaway style to see, experiment, try, and quest different activities and lifestyles that are pretty connected to the nature so then I can make my own idea based on these experiences for how I can get on with my life project. That can be achieved, I suppose, to live the real life with the hosts rather than having aim to just travel. Those (live/voage) would lead to different mindsets & perspectives. Meanwhile that would be a great opportunities to meet interesting local people and specifically travel and live in beautiful places in the nature. I have been in so many beautiful areas in the mountains forests seas desert etc before and now with workaway I actually have opportunity to live in there rather than just a short travel.
My recent professional experience were around truism; hostel manager at Lake Como in Italy, and lately kitesurfing instructor at Lake Garda in Italy.
I do like activities in nature or farms, I am pretty good in mountaineering (as my first passion), I love automobiles, and I still carry my engineering and managerial skills on my back. Besides, during my Workaway experience so far I have been through many different activities from shepherd like work to construction, cooking, baking, dog sledding, gardening, farmstay, maintenance, babysitting and many more.

Mados was great, right from the start. Easy to get on with, reliable, honest and had a good laugh and smile. Was open to help in whichever way was needed, and proved capable and trustworthy; could easily be trusted to help on his own if need be, and could be relied upon to do his best at any task. A lover of nature, Mados is always welcome.

We had Mado for two weeks . He is nice, well educated and responsable, he speaks fluent italian , english and his mother language of course . He is adaptive and always grateful and available to appreciate what you or life offer to him and to give back and be available as a loyal friend . Thank you Mado and I wish you all the best

Staying at the farm has been an excellent experience for me, the work was hard but rewarding, food , accomodation, comunication were all good . Overall a beautiful experience in an italian farm and a new friendship in italy.

Mado stayed with our family almost three months and we had a really good time together. He is a good strong worker, helped to do a lot of gardening work, but also helped me with the bead bakink, and is now a good baker.

Mado is a flexible person and adapt easily to people and tasks. He is fun to be around and you can have a great laugh with him. He is quiet and relaxed but when it comes to help is a hard worker. I hope he will came and visited us again. To be fully recommended!
