Description

I'm Luca, 21 years old and I'm currently studying Fine Arts. My love for creating is endless, different media such as oil paint, ceramics, crochet, knitting, sewing, writing, photography and performance mix with each other in my art practice. I have also done a Reiki course, this is something I would like to explore further in the future. I like to start my day with yoga, (I do this using Yoga with Adriene on Youtube). I get a smile on my face when I talk about horses. When I was 9 years old I started riding lessons. It quickly became my favorite time of the week. In addition to dressage lessons, I took jumping lessons at a freer, independent outdoor riding school. Several times I went to pony camp. I took classes every week until I was 15. Unfortunately, due to mental issues, it was no longer possible. Because I missed it so much I started leasing a pony in 2021, I was able to go on outdoor rides independently and drive in the bin, I enjoyed this very much.
Besides, I am in love with mountain hiking. I've gone twice now for a few days. In the Pyrenees and the Velebit area in Croatia. I definitely want to do this more often in the future. Surrounded by nature, I feel at home. previously I started to get into wild plants and learning about the ones you can eat or create oils/ creams with. I am looking for a place where you can live together in loving co and independence

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Art
I am currently in my third year of studying Fine Arts. I also studied Performance Art in Ghent for a year. In addition, I have done several small exhibitions / volunteer work at art collectives.

Horse Riding
In the past I rode horse for seven years. Both dressage and jumping lessons. I leased a pony for six months.

Dogs & Cats
I've had dogs and cats all my life, I get along well with them.

Cooking
I am getting better at cooking. I can certainly cook a good meal. My father used to be a chef in 2 restaurants, I was raised with tasty and healthy food. I love to cook with herbs, vegetables, and taste it as I am doing it. I also like to bake.

Cafe & bar
I work in museum cafe de Pont (Tilburg, the Netherlands), I can make good cappuccinos, I work quickly and carefully. Before this I worked in a cafe in Ghent, so I can also tap beers.

Volunteer work
I have done various forms of volunteer work. Among other things, I helped with a project of an artists' initiative in collaboration with local residents. I also participated in an art studio for vulnerable (homeless) people. I helped on a farm with horses, goats, sheep, cats and dogs.

Reiki
I have a Reiki 1 certificate.

Yoga
I have done yoga at home for some years now.

Organised
I am a very organized person, if you give me instructions I can carry them out carefully. If you make me feel seen and at home I am super open, honest and enthousiastic.

I'm on workaway because I'm interested in learning more about horses. Everything about care, groundwork, recognizing signals, riding itself (in an animal-friendly way). Besides I am interested in community living, yoga, spirituality, philosophy, building, gardening, new experiences, plants and cooking.
