Hi! My name is Lory-Jade (but you can call me Lory) :)
I'm 21 and looking for new adventures. I started travelling last year and I discovered a real passion discovering things all around the world
I love meeting and connecting with humans, being in nature, cooking, singing, reading, doing sports and anything that can give me adrenaline!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I graduated in "Technique en éducation spécialisée" at Cégep du Vieux Montréal in may 2023. I can compare my job to a life counsellor or a social worker.
I have worked in several type of places : in a daycamp with kids having autism, at a fondation with kids and adults having severe disabilities, babysitting 2 little boy with autism, in a High school with teenager between 14 to 18 years old, in a foster care with girls between 12 to 18 years old and in a school with kids between 7 to 10 years old.
I have been working since I was 14 years old, I also have experiences in other fields : fast foods (Tim Hortons, Juice shop), legal secretariat, housekeeper and groceries stores.

The most important thing for me is to be well surrounded while travelling/working. I'm hoping to find welcoming people with who I can spend time exchanging about our knowledge, learning about each other :)
I'm also very creative, I love painting, drawing and make some DIY.

This hostel is beautiful and the job is easy! There's not a lot of guest so it's easier to make good connections with them
It felt like a little family and that's what I enjoyed the most x
Especially Joe who's the perfect boss for the volunteers, and now a friend for life xx
The staff at the hostel is also very sweet
The job was easy and fun, I would've stayed longer if I could!!
Don't hesitate to volunteer here :)
