Hello!

Are you looking for fun and reliable Helpers during summer and you are located in Yukon or North BC? This is us, Loréna and Robin from France :)

We arrived in Canada this March 2024 and expect to stay until the end of our Working Holiday Visa in 2026.
Since then, we have been enjoying the country with workaway experiences and trips over the country.
We would like to find a new place where we can help at various tasks and share moments with you.

We love : Being away from the city, surrounded by nature and wilderness, enjoying life and simple things. Cooking tasty meals, being useful and help whenever we can. If the job you demand is not in our skills, we are eager to learn :)


About us

Loréna, 29, I am an engineer, my job was to counsel companies on how to improve the working conditions and well-being of their employees.

Horserider since teenager, I had my own horse, and did some dressage and showjumping competitions. I have skills on how to handle horses, groom, exercise, cleaning stables, etc. A place with horses would definitely be an asset.
I’m responsible and proactive, trying to always do my best and pay attention to details. I enjoy working outside, organizing, cooking (I love baking if you have sweet tooth), taking care of animals.

Robin, 27 years old, I am a butcher and I also have a carpenter degree.
Having already lived and worked on a farm (sheep, cattle, deer farm) for 1 year in New Zealand in 2018-2019, I have skills in general farming chores like looking after the animals, or fencing, etc.
I am really playful and love new challenges, I wouldn’t hesitate to join you for any sports.

I'm a respectful, polite and smiling man, who loves to play at any games. Live plainly like there's no tomorrow. That's why I'm always excited to progress, try, experience.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Thanks to workaway :
Early 2024, we spent 2 months in a lovely farm in McBride, BC. We enjoyed taking care of the animals : bisons/horses/chickens. and around the farm as well, gardening, building : insulate a barn, multitasking : help around the house/cleaning/cooking/cutting firewood, etc.)

Then we spent the summer season in a glamping resort Rafting & Yoga, near Vancouver. Where we had different responsibilities : mainly cooking delicious meals for the guests, housekeeping, landscaping, general maintenance, carpentry (decks, stairs, buildings).

In September we drove all across Canada to reach Québec, and started jobs as Butcher in a supermarket for Robin, and cook/server in a restaurant for Loréna. then both worked in a resort working as housekeeper and server/kitchen help.
We just drove back west in march, did few weeks in a cattle farm in Alberta then heading to Vancouver island.
