Hi there!

We are Livia and Orkun. We are slow travellers. We travel the world mostly because we're curious about foreign countries, cultures, languages, habits and human humans with their unique and amazing personal stories.

We care for sustainability as much as we can by avoiding planes, buy seasonal organic foods, buy second hand and recycle.

As well as it is very important to us to take care about the environment we also take care about our own surroundings, body, mind and soul. (Healthy food, sport, reading and meditation are important for us).

We are very easy going, not in for any luxus and we love nature. We also have our own tent with us, in case that would be handy. In general we are in to be caveman/woman, minimalist and connect with nature. This makes us happy.

Our conversations go deep when you open up.
We like to be active and come up easily with some jokes :)) Making fun and laughing is healthy for the environment and feels amazing.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
- Maintainence/renovation & woodwork (wood cutting, wall construction, click floors, paint.. )

- Gardening & animals (from our own balcony plants to vegetable gardens, fruit trees and farm work. From our own cats to horse riding)

- Childcare & teaching (we are both teachers and we can easy connect with kids. We mostly teach English and German to kids and adults)

- Art & music (Livia loves decorating/organising interior, makes bracelets, necklaces and plays the guitar. Orkun draws comics, wall paintings, plays clarinet and works with several music and video programs)

-Videos (we travel with an INSTA360 camera and we know how to cut and edit)

- Cooking & household (We like to cook mostly healthy and vegetarian dishes and we are always interested to learn new recipes. We like to keep a place clean and organized)

- Yoga & mediation: Livia is a yoga teacher and can give yoga lessons and guided meditation

- In general (We are fast and eager learners, we work solution based, we have creative ideas and we are willing to do any kind of work. We consider us as clean, organized and responsible. We did all sorts of workaway together and easily tune in to our hosts needs as a team.

We are tired of many unprofessional hosts who do not maintain/update their workaway page and availability.

We like to be involved in good conversation, which go back-and-forth. If you talk a lot or tend to almost hold monologues, we might not be a fitting match.

Livia & Orkun were wonderful volunteers and we look forward to their return in the Spring. We are a VERY dynamic and constantly changing environment and they were both able to "go with the flow." Both the teachers and the students greatly enjoyed interacting with them. I would highly recommend them to any workaway host :)

While being on the road with our bicycles from Switzerland to China we decided to do our first workaway of the trip in Bulgaria.

In Juli you got 20 hours of sun in Sweden someone said! And you can also camp in the wild! Sweet! :D

We stayed two weeks on the beautiful, well-organized and tidy farm with Ray, Dora, Yogi the dog, the white snow leopard kittycat :) the chickens, the goats and the sheeps. We spended one month at this beautiful place. The moment you enter the gates you discover a long garden stretching all the way through bungalows and a meditation / yoga hall. We stayed at the last cozy bungalow on the right corner (for us the prettiest and with the best views).

We stayed for 5 weeks with Masha and Patrick.
From the moment we arrived we we're very welcomed by the whole family including all the animals.

We had a great time in Roys house. We liked it so much to be part of the WG (shared flat) and to renovate a room. Roy is very generous and trustful.
