Description
Hi my name is Lina,
I'm 20 years old and I graduated in 2023. I really enjoy travelling and staying in a place for a longer period to get to know the people and the culture. Volunteering is a great way to experience that.
I’m an outgoing, adventurous and active person.
In my home town I worked with an event group as a waitress. I worked reception for almost 6 months in a hostel in Costa Rica, for 3 months in the san blas islands, supporting the team of an island hopping company, for 3 weeks as a guide in France for a German surfcamp and 1 month on a farm/ngo project in Guatemala and another 2 weeks on a farm/ngo.
I returned for another 2 months to the hostel in Costa Rica and volunteered for 1 month in a hostel in cali, also doing reception.

I started learning spanish in the San Blas islands and improved a lot in the last 3 Months in Guatemala. I can have good conversations in spanish and I want to improve my spanish skills so I'm happy for any support with it. -

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
As I’m an open minded person I enjoy learning new skills and always try to implement everything in the best possible way.
I have experiences in:
- working as a waitress on different events (concerts, sport events, fairs, corporate events)
- working as a cashier on concerts
In the Surfcamp in Costa Rica I helped with:
- social media content (I really like editing videos)
- general reception tasks ( check in/out, surfboard rentals/classes, selling tours)
- cleaning common areas in the surfcamp
In the San Blas Islands I helped with:
- preparing 3 meals a day for 15-30 people
- cleaning dishes and the equipment
- socialising and planning activities for the guests
In Guatemala I helped with:
- farming / gardening
- teaching acrobatics to kids
- some building, painting
In Cali I helped with:
- working reception shifts (check ins/check outs)
- making beds
Doing sport is really important to me, i enjoy hiking, jogging or athletics in general and acrobatics. -

The town is super beautiful and this hostel is the only hostel there whoch makes it even more special. Almost all guests were super cool and most kept extending which really describes the place!
