Hi everyone,
My name is Maurizio (but at the registry office I am Salvatore, my grandfather's name) I'm 62 years old, very well behaved and very youthful. I live in Genoa a beautiful seaside city in Liguria in northern Italy. The city of Christopher Columbus. My job is as an electrician, but the company closed a few years ago and so I work occasionally in schools, either as a janitor
or as an electrical or IT laboratory assistant. I really enjoy working at school with children and adolescents. I am also skilled in DIY manual work around the house. I have wanted to learn English well for many years. I got to start a friendship with a person who lives in Hertfordshire in England, where I have been a few times. I really liked England and in addition to improving the language, I would like to discover it more. I am a very sociable person and, according to my friends, nice and good. Among my favorite hobbies is hiking, being in nature is beautiful for me and in the area where I live there are many paths, lakes and parks where you can do it. My life partner is music, I strum the guitar 🎸🎵🎤🎶 and sing, I also love painting, theatre, cinema, reading, I like to write some poetry and fairy tales for children every now and then and much more. I obviously like to eat and drink well, and I'm quite good at cooking, especially pasta 😋. I hope to be able to find some host where I can spend some time and be able to lend a hand in daily activities, thus improving my English and discovering new places. Mi chiamo Maurizio ho 62 anni, portati decisamente bene e sono molto giovanile. Vivo a Genova una bellissima città sul mare in Liguria nel nord Italia. La città di Cristoforo Colombo. Il mio lavoro è l elettricista, ma da qualche anno l Azienda ha chiuso e allora lavoro saltuariamente nelle scuole, o come bidello o come Assistente di laboratorio elettrico o informatico. Lavorare a scuola mi piace tantissimo con i bambini e con gli adolescenti. Sono anche abile nel fai da te nei lavori manuali in casa. Sono tanti anni che vorrei imparare bene l' Inglese. Ho avuto modo di intraprendere un'amicizia con una persona che vive in Hertfordshire in Inghilterra, dove sono stato alcune volte. L'Inghilterra mi è piaciuta moltissimo e oltre a migliorare la lingua, mi piacerebbe scoprirla di più. Sono una persona molto socievole e a detta degli amici simpatico e buono. Tra i miei hobby preferiti c'è l' escursionismo, stare nella natura per me è bellissimo e nella zona dove vivo ci sono molti sentieri, laghi e parchi dove poterlo fare. La mia compagna di vita è la musica, strimpello la chitarra 🎸🎵🎤🎶 e canto, amo anche la pittura, il teatro, il cinema, leggere, mi piace scrivere ogni tanto qualche poesia e favole per i bambini e molto altro. Mi piace ovviamente mangiare e bere bene, e sono abbastanza bravo a cucinare, soprattutto la pasta 😋. Spero di potere trovare qualche host dove poter passare qualche periodo e potere dare una, mano nelle attività quotidiano, e migliorare così l Inglese e scoprire posti nuovi.
