Description
I'm motivated by a desire to explore the world. My goal one day is to have my own plot of land to grow food, and raise a few animals. I want to use my workaway opportunities to start learning and building skills to accomplish that goal.
What brings me happiness is diving into a local community. I move around for seasonal work a lot and my favorite thing is learning about and immersing myself into the community. I always try to hit the farmer's markets and hole-in-the-wall places first. Trying new foods is my favorite!
I love a good hiking challenge. In the places I go, I'm seeking access to the outdoors. Sunshine makes me happy.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
From being in Americorps with the American Conservation Experience I gained skills and certifications in:
Chainsaw use, crosscut saw, trail maintenance, trail building, habitat restoration, brushcutting, boardwalk construction, and ecological monitoring.
In general, I'm comfortable with physical labor in all weather conditions. I've worked successfully in teams and individually. I can learn to do anything (except how to play sports apparently).
I consider myself a confident communicator and have experience as a guide and activity host.

I love cooking, reading, and staying active by doing things like yoga. My favorite game that I bring everywhere is Ecologies: a card game about building ecosystems. It's really cool. I don't play a lot of games but I love Uno with the rules spiced up a bit.
I don't have much experience working with animals but I'm really interested in learning.
I'm currently seeking opportunities on the Australian coast but am still interested in farmstays.
