Life is beautiful! Out there in the world, there are so many great people to meet, breathtaking places to see and fascinating cultures to discover. With wars and pandemics dividing our countries, I believe that now more than ever, we need to help each other out. The good relations previously established between countries and people need to be nourished and cherished.

Being around other people and interacting with them brings me happiness. Sharing a meal makes food taste so much better and engaging through music, games, nature and other activities brings beauty to our lives and helps us grow together as friends, family, society and humanity.

I recently finished my Bachelor studies in International Relations and I will start my Master studies in the end of August. After a lot of time spent at a desk in front of my laptop, I am looking for some physical work for some balance. Hence, I would love to help you in your garden or house, or with animal and child care. However, I am open for other tasks as well.

In winter 2022/2023, I worked as an Au-pair near Paris for half a year. Therefore, I am relatively fluent in French. I might not be able to discuss rocket science or philosophy but probably pretty much anything else.

I studied French in highschool for several years and worked in a Bed&Breakfast in Normandie last summer. After working as an Au-pair near Paris for six months last winter, I speak relatively fluently but there is always space to improve. Hence, I am always open for a language exchange. I could help you with German or practice the other languages I know. Currently, I am trying to learn Swedish.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am an allrounder, give me a task and a bit of time and chances are high that I will figure out a way to solve it. I am not your best fit concerning craftsmanship but I am definitely able and more than happy to learn and just help out wherever possible.
I studied International Relations which is a lot about Politics, Economics and Law, but I also worked before on a farm for a few weeks. In summer 2021, I did workaway in Sweden which included tasks like gardening, dog-walking, helping with horses and painting amongst other things (there are some before and after pictures in my gallery). Then last summer (2022), I worked in a Bed&Breakfast in Normandie for a few weeks. In Winter 2022/2023, I worked as an Au-Pair near Paris for half a year.
I am good at cleaning, gardening, baking; I love to look after children and I have a big heart for animals (I took horse riding lessons on Icelandic horses for several years). However, my best ability is to be curious, open-minded as well as willing to learn and to take on anything.

I am very passionate about music and love to play the piano. I also used to play violin and those past month, I tried to teach myself to play the Ukulele. If you want to make me happy, then just teach me a song in your mother tongue or show me your favorite music.

Furthermore, I love board games- from card games and classics like Uno to Kubb, Cantan, Ticket to ride or whatever else is out there. If the weather is great, nothing keeps me inside though. Whether going swimming, hiking, horse-back riding, running, or playing soccer; I am up to all of it.

When I lived in Sweden, I discovered Canoeing which is really amazing- so great to have that different perspective on the world from the water!
