Hi🤗

My name is Leona, and I’m an 18-year-old high school graduate from Germany.
After finishing school and before starting university, I want to explore the world, travel, and create unforgettable memories and experiences.
My family includes my parents, my younger brother, my older brother, our family dog, and me.
I have a strong interest in working with animals. Horses, in particular, have played a big role in my life—I’ve been riding since 2014 and have had my own horse since 2020.
When it comes to Workaway, I’m simply curious and excited to see where the journey takes me. 🧳


Ich bin Leona, eine 18Jährige Abiturientin aus Deutschland.
Nach meinem Abitur und vor dem Studium möchte ich gerne etwas von der Welt sehen, reisen und schöne Erinnerungen und Erfahrungen sammeln.
Meine Familie besteht aus meinen Eltern, meinem kleinem Bruder, meinem großem Bruder, unserem Familienhund und mir.
Für die Arbeit mit Tieren interessiere ich mich besonders. Pferde spielen ebenfalls schon lange eine große Rolle in meinem Leben; ich reite bereits seit 2014 und habe seit 2020 ein eigenes Pferd.
Bezüglich Workaway bin ich dann wohl einfach mal gespannt, wo mich der Weg hinführt.🧳

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I consider myself to be a very sociable, helpful, and animal-loving person.
At grammar school, my advanced courses are Educational Science and Biology.
Since 2014, I have gained extensive experience with horses, and I have owned my own gelding since 2020.
I have also completed several formative internships, including a one-week placement as a primary school teacher, another one-week internship as a social pedagogical assistant in the early school years, and a two-week internship at an animal-assisted therapy farm working with horses and dogs.
Each of these experiences brought me great joy and taught me a lot—especially when it comes to working with horses and interacting with people, particularly children.

In my free time, I enjoy meeting up with friends and occasionally going to parties.
I’ve also been dancing in a show dance group for 15 years. In addition, I work as an assistant in a dance group for girls of pre-school and primary school age.
