Description
26 years old and working on an organic farm after having finished my farming apprenticeship in 2022. I love farming, gardening, animal keeping and working with my hands. I love the outdoors and enjoy physical work, especially being able to see a result at the end of the day. During previous volunteering i have already come into contact with permaculture, agroforestry, eco-building and so on and would love to deepen my knowledge in these areas.
I also love reading, horse riding, hiking and doing crafts.
I also love to learn new things along the way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
My main skills are farming an everything that comes with it. Gardening and animal keeping but also gerneral maintenance such as fencing and handling tools and machinery.
Besides that i have some skills working with wood and metal, know basketry and leather work ad have knowledge in herbal medicines.

Lena is a great volunteer, probably a better farmer than me, she really helped to give our gardens a kick ahead. Nice person, good company as well. I highly recommend her, and she is welcome back here anytime she want.

In my expérience as a host in workaway I have meet a lot wonderfull people, and many good workers that some had knolage about farming and others don't. Many of them left a really positive impact on me. But is rare to find someone that gathers all good qualitys as Lena. She was extreamily knowleable and really hard working. He is very passionate about what he is doing and was happy to explain things, answer all my questions and show me all the rare and strange plants he has around. I spent three weeks with Ruben and Leire. I had a great time there, helping with the garden and the sheep. Ruben and Leire were both very patient with my not very well spanish skills, making an effort to speak in a way that i could understand. Thanks to them my spanish improved a lot and very rapidly. There is a beach about half an hours walk away… read more

I spent one week with jesus and his community. During that time my main tasks were cleaning out a corner for the new chicken house and other small tasks. The afternoons were always free and i had time to explore the area. I spend two months at Maria and Bengt´s farm and learned a lot on that time. I spent two weeks at Angrla‘s and Jan‘s place and enjoyed it very much. There was lots of work to be done, especially a lot of fixing up on the buildings as they had not been here long. But during my stay I really got the feeling they will turn this into an amazing place with a wonderful energy.

We had Lena as a workawayer for two weeks and enjoyed her company and high working spirit. She has a lot of valuable skills and knowledge from her intersting work at an organic farm and life in general, and is not afraid to do challenging or hard work. Furthermore she is good company and nice to be around.
