Description

My name is Lea and I am from Germany. I am 20 years old. This year I did my high school Diploma and now I am looking very forward to use my free year for work and travel in New Zealand.
I am a an outgoing person and I love to get to know new people and cultures. I love to have people around me with whom I can talk, laugh and from whom I can learn new things to broaden my horizon.
I am a very cheerful, inquisitive, conscientious and adventures person and I have already traveled to many other countries.
New Zealand I travel the first time and I am very much looking forward to get to know the New Zealand culture, its people and the beautiful nature.
I love animals and nature and it makes me always happy when I can make other people and animals happy and help them.
Familie and friens are a big part of my life and I spend a lot of time with them.
In my freetime I love to ride my own horse in the nature, go jogging and swimming and from time to time I love to paint pictures and to be creative.
Furthermore I love hiking and skiing. These activities I often do with my family on vacation.
Generally I am a person who can never get bored well and always need to be active.
Workaway was recommended to me by a friend who had also done work and travel in New Zealand a year earlier, so I found out more about workaway and was very quickly exited about the idea of being part of this great community.
I am really looking forward to gaining many new experiences in New Zealand and meeting new nice people.

I would like to improve my englisch skills. From 18.07.2022 to 19.08.2022 I attended a general english intensive course in England and has been awarded the CEFR: C1, so I currently still have level C1, but I would like to make further progress. Furthermore I could imagine teaching German.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a highly motivated and reliable backpacker on a working holiday scheme.
My experience include working as riding instructor, doing an internship in an elementary school, in a retirement home and in an achitect`s office, as well as working in a catering trade.
I have also been involved in volunteer work at a Riding Club for many years. I am an organised, ambitious person who has developed a mature and responsible approche to any task that I undertake, or situation that I am presented with.

o I looked after the seniores all day and kept them company


architect`s office (Germany)
Responsibilities and Tasks:
o Creating of drawings in different perspectives
o Drawing and modeling a dream house with a 3D program
o Insight into the creation of a tender
o Site trips accompanied by the site management


elementary school (Germany)
Responsibilities and Tasks:
o Accompanied individual students in the work process oft he class
o Individual support of children
o Accompanied the children during the full-time day school


Voluntary work at a Riding Club:
o Helping with the care and supplyof the horses, ponies and sheep
o Working on farm rules, farm maintenance and helping with child care in the riding school
o I gave independently children and young people from the age of 5 in individual and group riding lessons and looked after groups during holiday camps a spart of team for several years
o I trained a young horse
