Hello! I'm Koki from Osaka, Japan.

I used to work at a Japanese company for about 5 years — experienced both engineering and HR stuff. After that, I wanted to learn English and see the world to broaden my horizon. And then I decided to study abroad in Canada, did a working holiday in Australia, and ended up traveling to around 50 countries as a backpacker.

I love traveling, but honestly what I enjoy the most is just hanging out with locals and getting a feel for how they actually live. I'm also really into learning languages.

Here I've experienced a lot of new things — like looking after kids, doing house renovations, farming, and sharing our different cultures. Looking back, I've made so many unforgetable memories through these Workaway experiences.

Kokichi stayed for around a month and worked hard for us whilst here with a variety of land based tasks. He was also very helpful to have in the house to cook for others. He is honest, reliable, poilite, friendly and always did what was asked of him. I would recommend to others.

I had an excellent time for 1 month. The sharehouse I stayed in was surrounded by a lot of nature which are such as the sea, cherry blossom, bamboo forest, and so on.
