The Laß family on tour ;)

may I introduce:
I am Katrin, I was born 41 years ago in the heart of Germany, in a small village in Thuringia, between animals and nature. Early aged I learned to ride horses and drive tractor.
With young 16 years I finished my school and moved out into the world, well anyway 30 km and one state further ;) I did my first apprenticeship, in the "big" city of Göttingen I learned the hairdressing trade. Even today, my scissors are always with me. Once out of home, it went off with the discovery life. I worked in everything that offered itself, such as waitressing, bartending, as a lightjane, babysitting, dog sitting, in the horse stable, in the field, in the kitchen, at fairs, catering, moderation, administration, in the theater and much more. I moved and worked through Germany until I moved to Berlin in 2007, where I still live when I'm not traveling.
I studied educational science and worked as a social worker with children and adults, today I coach young and old on the way of their professional (re)orientation. The only thing I love more than helping others to find themselves is to find myself and I do that by discovering the world and getting to know other ways of living. Since October 2022 I am married to my better half Jann, who has been with me for 16 years as a good friend and well, much more than that. Yes that's romantic, what can you do ;)
And then there is Jann (my better half as I said before). Jann was born and raised in Berlin 39 years ago. I would describe him as a quiet, warm-hearted, very creative and musical person. Jann studied mathematics and computer science in addition to cognitivsience and worked as a software engineer until recently. He can draw very well and play piano, guitar and bass and surprises me again and again with new talents ;)
Our little family also includes our little dog named Kali, which I adopted from Romania 3 years ago. Kali is a small, at the beginning very timid mouse, who loves to be always there and often so quiet that you sometimes forget that she is there. I've traveled with her quite a bit and can say that (as long as it's not thunderstorming) she's just as adventurous as I am.
About our travel plans: We have fulfilled a dream from our wedding money and bought a roof tent. Now we also want to use it and have therefore summarily quit our jobs, packed the things and now go from Berlin to Portugal to spend the winter there. The route is only very roughly planned to leave enough air for spontaneity. We would like to see the French Alps on the way there and maybe stop in Faro sometime in late October to meet friends. We're open for anything that crosses our path.

Wenn ich vorstellen darf:
Ich bin die Katrin, geboren wurde ich vor 41 Jahren im Herzen Deutschlands, in einem kleinen Dorf in Thüringen, zwischen Tieren und Natur. Ich lernte früh Reiten und Trecker fahren. Mit jungen 16 Jahren beendete ich meine Schule und zog in die Welt hinaus, naja jedenfalls 30 km und ein Bundesland weiter ;) Ich machte meine erste Ausbildung, in der "großen" Stadt Göttingen erlernte ich das Friseurhandwerk. Auch heute noch sind meine Scheren immer dabei. Einmal von zuhause raus, ging es los mit dem Entdeckerleben. Ich arbeitete in Allem was sich so anbot, wie zum Beispiel Kellnern, Barkeepen, als Lightjane, Babysitting, Hundesitting, im Pferdestall, auf dem Feld, in der Küche, auf Messen, Catering, Moderation, Administration, im Theater und einiges mehr. Ich zog und arbeitete durch Deutschland bis es mich 2007 dann nach Berlin verschlug, wo ich bis heute lebe, wenn ich nicht grad auf Reisen bin.
Ich studierte Erziehungswissenschaft und arbeitete als Sozialarbeiterin mit Kindern und Erwachsenen, heute coache ich Jung und Alt auf dem Weg ihrer beruflichen (Um)Orientierung. Das Einzige was ich mehr liebe als anderen zu helfen sich zu finden ist, mich selbst zu finden und das tue ich, wenn ich die Welt entdecke und andere Lebensentwürfe kennen lerne. Seit Oktober 2022 bin ich mit meiner besseren Hälfte Jann verheiratet, der mich schon seit 16 Jahren als guter Freund begleitet und nun, viel mehr als das. Ja das ist romantisch, was soll man machen ;)
Und dann gibt es noch den Jann (meine bessere Hälfte wie schon gesagt). Jann ist vor 39 Jahren in Berlin geboren und aufgewachsen. Ich würde ihn als ruhigen, warmherzigen, sehr kreativen und musikalischen Menschen beschreiben. Jann hat neben Cognitivscience noch Mathematik und Informatik studiert und arbeitete bis vor kurzem als Software Ingenieur. Er kann sehr gut zeichnen und Klavier, Gitarre und Bass spielen und überrascht mich immer wieder mit neuen Talenten ;)
Zu unserer kleinen Familie gehört noch unsere kleine Hündin Namens Kali, die ich vor 3 Jahren aus Rumänien adoptiert habe. Kali ist eine kleine, anfangs sehr ängstliche Maus, die am liebsten immer dabei ist und oft so ruhig, dass man manchmal vergisst, dass sie da ist. Ich bin schon viel mit ihr verreist und kann sagen, dass sie (solange es nicht gewittert) genauso abenteuerlustig ist wie ich.
Zu unseren Reiseplänen: Wie haben uns von unserem Hochzeitsgeld einen Traum erfüllt und uns ein Dachzelt gekauft. Nun wollen wir es auch nutzen und haben deshalb kurzer Hand unsere Jobs gekündigt, die Sachen gepackt und fahren nun von Berlin nach Portugal um dort den Winter zu verbringen. Die Route ist nur ganz grob geplant um genug Luft für Spontanität zu lassen. Wir würden gern auf dem Hinweg die französischen Alpen sehen und irgendwann Ende Oktober vielleicht in Faro anhalten um Freunde zu treffen. Alles was uns unterwegs begegnen will, ist herzlich willkommen. Sollten noch Fragen offen sein, fühlt euch eingeladen sie zu stellen.
