We spent two marvellous weeks with Joy. She understood very quickly what was expected from her and helped us very much with the horses and in gardening. She was very friendly to us and our visitors. I had a lovely time at Achill. I was working which runs in the summer months. It's an outstandingly beautiful area and the people (and ponies!) are lovely. Things to note: the bungalow you stay in is basic but it's right by the beach and it's great to live with other workawayers. Also you can work longer hours but you are paid for this.

Joy was a complete star .She helped us in every way.Her enthusiasm was exceptional .
She rode all our horses and helped doing lots of different jobs as well .
We loved having her to stay and she is welcome back anytime .

I stayed at Jilly's place for a month. I was mainly working with the family's gorgeous horses-excercising them ready for the hunting season. In the afternoons I did some odd jobs around the place- tidying, weeding ect.

I had a great time in carrigart. It's a lovely relaxed atmosphere and all the family are so friendly and thoughtful, so I felt at home straight away. The area is gorgeous and I was really grateful to Megan for taking me exploring. The beach/ sea is right at the bottom of the field-perfect for beach hacks or wild swimming. Joy stayed with us in August 2020, she was fabulous and helped us so much. She did lots of painting and was also a very good rider. Joy is a great cook and did lots of baking and cooked nice dinners in the evening. She was a pleasure to have in our home and we would welcome her back to visit anytime. Thank you for all your help.
