Hey everyone!

My name is Jonas (24) and I have been studying for the past year. Now I am getting restless again.

Since I will be doing an internship in Tirana I figured I would also use that chance, to get around the area and try to meet some locals as well as others travellers.

I have done workawaying in Canada and Sweden, I have some experience with animals, gardening, small maintenance tasks and such. While I have been back in Germany I have also worked a bit as a language teacher (German, English).

Would love to get to know Balkan and Albanian culture, landscape, work, people, traditions...

I have worked at multiple farms and ranches. I have some experience working with horses, cattle, sheep and goats. Also with general farm maintenance and a bit of gardening.

I have been an English teacher on and off and have worked with kids at a primary school before.

I equally like to be among people and do my own thing. I enjoy good conversations, cooking, reading and being outside (doing sports and such).
I have been living with 8 roommates the past year and am now a fan of card and board games.
I would love to learn about Albania, its history, customs, traditions and people!

It was a pleasure to host Joe. We appreciated his positive attitude and willingness to help with whatever the day would bring. He has a great ability to anticipate next steps and what needs to be done. He works well on his own and has amazing tenacity to finish projects. Our place is a hub of activity and Joe got along easily with everyone.

I am so glad I had the chance to get to know Randy! It was a great opportunity to learn about horses and ranching and a whole lot of other things! He is a really fun guy and I enjoyed working with him! Definitely one of the best stays I've had.

Staying at the ranch was such an interesting experience!
I learned about ranching in general, I got to watch little lambs be born and helped take care of them!
Laurie was a great host and I met wonderful people there.

Simply great! Easy going and self-standing. Working well, showing some entrepreneur spirit: taking up tasks and completing them with little to no supervision. If I didn't assign him any tasks, he would find something useful to do anyway. It's been pleasure to have hosted you Joe here for these couple of days. I would gladly see you again.
