Hi, my name is Job, I'm 23 years old and I'm Dutch. Currently studying journalism and am excited to travel for a bit in the next weeks. Did loads of workaways two years ago during my gap years. Mostly in dog shelters, in countries like Portugal, and Greece but also Costa Rica and Bonaire, an island in the Caribbean.

Someday I hope traveling will be my job as a journalist, making stories in places, of people far outside the bubble of my home. For now, I have to study for two years more but I'm doing what I can in the meantime.

This is why I'm traveling again next month, during my summer vacation. Hopefully, I'll find a good place to either learn Spanish or work with dogs. Traveling with someone can be nice so send me a message if you want to go to Spain like me. My mind is set on either going to the mainland (with my dog) and volunteering or going to Tenerife but then I won't bring Mila. Mila is the dog in the pictures on the profile.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can speak Dutch and English fluently, my Spanish is getting better and better. I can cook, and make videos. I'm a quick learner. I have some knowledge about chemistry if that's any help. I have also worked in a nursery for three years so I know what it's like to do work in a garden. Basically, anything that has something to do with journalism, like editing, writing, social media.

I did some wakeboarding in the past and I have experience with animals like dogs and turtles. I volunteered in Indonesia a few months ago where I helped on a turtle conservation project and helped build a kindergarten. I volunteered at animal shelters that took in dogs and cats but I worked mainly with the dogs.

I love nature, hiking, being, outdoors, and exploring new areas
