Hi!
We're Maaike and Jesse and we have been in a relationship for a couple of years now. We're working on developing towards living closer to, and in more harmony with, nature. We trying to do that by being outside a lot, going camping with our beloved orange van and eating sustainable and harm-free food! In general, we've discoverd there's a big journey in life that involves other people and nature, rather than living individualistic and focussing on material.
Maaike: In my daily life I work both as a yogateacher, and in the human rights field. I love to work with people, and in both these jobs I meet so many beautiful cultures and souls! I also often volunteer in community-kitchens, because I love the feeling of creating something together (especially good food!). In general I would describe myself as open-minded, energetic and a positive person.
Jesse: At this point in life I'm trying to develop new skills and hobbies. I have recently started to learn spanish, learning how to play the guitar (for almost 2 years now) and have picked up windsurfing. Photography is also a big hobby. I really love being in nature, with animals and meeting new people. For the working part of my life I'm currently a sustainability advisor. People describe me as broadly interested, easy-going and thoughtful.
We're really looking forward to expand our experiences with a workaway, preferably in nature. We're hardworking people that look to contribute to inspiring projects. Hoping to meet you soon!

Cooking (vegetarian and vegan), general household chores (washing, doing groceries, doing the dishes, vacuum cleaning, cleaning amenities), working with animals, doing things around and in gardens and with greenery, helping in or around the house with maintenance (painting, building, etc.). Also photography, writing, playing the guitar, yoga, breathworks, helping with other things.
