Description

My life's purpose is simple: to be happy. I believe that everyone deserves to be happy, and everything we engage in, our choices, likes, and dislikes, ultimately revolves around this pursuit.

I was an IT product manager by profession. But I always knew I wanted to do something different. So, I've resigned my 5-year job in IT last month to find that something along with travelling.

I've started Workawaying since Jan 1 2024. So far I've been in Mangalore (Workaway), Goa (Workaway), Madurai (Parotta making course), Kerala(Tourism) , Haridwar (Tourism), Nepal(Workaway), Rishikesh (Workaway), Delhi (Tourism) and Bangalore(6 week culinary course).

I'm open to any work and is a quick learner for any voluntary works. Right now, I'm in a quest to explore India and a couple of other countries with Workaway get to experience diverse cultures, food and meet new people.

-Experienced in managing online classes for 1k students, specializing in Science and Math subjects up to grade 10.
-Skilled in creating educational materials for students.

Effective communication and teamwork.
-Leadership and management skills, demonstrated through leading a team of 30 employees in the edtech industry.
-Liaison between cross-functional teams in product management, involving engineering, SEO, design, SEM, marketing, BDA, content, finance, customer support, and data teams.

-Passionate about cooking and experimentaions
- Certified Parotta Master (Parotta is a South Indian bread)
-Enthusiastic about teaching and caring for children.

Volunteer and Work Experience:
-Volunteered for YMCA, teaching specially-abled children during college.
-Provided free tuition for financially backward children back in college
-Active member of the National Service Scheme back in college days, contributing to social welfare.
-Engaged in various charity organizations and volunteered for online data collections for NGOs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In summary, my background in electronics and communication, leadership experience in edtech, diverse skill set, passion for cooking, love for children and teaching, organizational abilities, and extensive volunteering experience make me a well-rounded and adaptable individual ready to contribute to a Workaway experience.

Also, I'm a nature lover who finds joy in trekking, hiking, and nature walks. Eager to bring this diverse set of interests to the Workaway experience!
